- Costco culture to me
means giving everything
back to the member that we possibly can.
- To me, Costco culture is all
about doing the right thing.
- I think about fairness and transparency
in all aspects of our business.
(upbeat music)
- Two things come to mind
when I hear Costco culture,
respect and security.
Security because the company
takes care of its employees
and we all feel very safe on our jobs
as long as we do our jobs,
and respect for us as
individuals and us as a group.
- I get excited when I know
I have to get up in the
morning to come to work.
- Culture is a way of life
for a group of people.
Since I came to this country
I worked for big corporations
and companies before,
but when I came to Costco
I see the difference.
The difference is how much
Costco cares about employees.
- To me, Costco culture
makes us who we are.
It's what makes Costco different
from any other company.
- Costco changed my life and my family,
and I'm very proud to work in Costco.
- Costco is everything.
We do everything the
right way, the Costco way.
- Costco being what it
is, a great company.
It tells you to do the
things on a great basis.
- Everything, because
Costco changed my life
and give me opportunity
the things that we don't
have in another company,
only in Costco.
- Growing as a professional, I'm young.
I'm thankful for being here.
I love Costco. (laughs)
- Member service and quality.
It's what we do and how we do it.
- To me, Costco is a family.
I've never met so many people
that care about you at your workplace.
I've seen so many people
helped out by their fellow employees
that I just love the family values,
and the family atmosphere at Costco.
- In one word?
Cheese.
For my family,
Buying one block of
Tillamook cheese once a month
saves me 60 bucks a year.
That's culture to me.
- The quality of our products,
the trust in our products for our members,
and our outstanding pricing.
People come to us because they trust us,
they know our products are great.
- High intensity, bringing
your A game, gotta have it.
- Costco culture to me is diversity,
'cause not only do we all have differences
but here at Costco we embrace them.
- Hola.
- G'day, mate.
- Konnichiwa.
- Annyeong.
- Bonjour.

so we take care of Costco.
- Costco culture is difficult
to sum up in a few words.
Mainly because in the time I've been here,
I've come to see it embody
so many different things.
Starting with having fun,
challenging yourself,
and that hard work does pay off.
For me though the foundation
of all of this is respect,
mutual respect for our
members, our employees,
and the principles that we stand for.
That's what sets Costco apart
and that's why I love
coming to work every day.
- Taking care of our
employees in any way possible,
and ensuring that we maintain
this Costco culture moving forward.
- Costco culture means
to me is that every role
within the warehouse is important,
from the lot attendants
to our warehouse manager.
- Provide quality goods and
services to our valuable members
by ensuring we follow
Costco's code of ethics.
- Being showtime ready at all times.
(speaking in foreign language)
- It's a lifestyle, just
getting to meet new people,
learning new trades.
- We always have to have
the best quality merchandise
at the best possible price.
- Our Costco culture is very diverse
and in a way we're
reflecting that of Toronto.
Our warehouse is made up
of many different cultures
that come together to
work for the same goal,
which is great member service.
- Costco culture is represented
greatly here at this
location by having members
returning and saying, I love you.
- Having fun working together
and providing exceptional service.
- We're actually a close knit family
that I trust and I can talk to,
and I can actually come
here without thinking,
oh, I'm going to work.
I'm actually coming here
to see my second family.
- I love Costco.
I am very happy.
I'm always going to try to do my best.
- Costco is a place where every
type of family can come over here.
- Costco culture to me
is more family orientated
and member service.
We're big on member service,
so just making sure members are satisfied.
- Trying to show how
we can help the member.
- Costco's diverse.
We've got products from around the world.
We've got members from around the world,
and we've got employees
from around the world.
What more could you ask for?
- Doing the best of your ability,
but to take a step beyond that to ensure
that every visit from our
members is a special one.
- Personally for me,
Costco is a lot of fun job.
- Being proud of where we work.
- Family people who work together
