Starting a routine. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And I know this sounds silly, but, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for many of you, I guess you don't know 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I was a nanny through all of college 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and part of grad school 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and what that means is I changed a lot of [br]diapers 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I put a lot of babies to sleep 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and what did I do? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Routine. It was all routine. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We bathed then we give them a bottle 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then we put them to bed 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we bate them, we.... you get the picture 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you get the picture, that's what we do 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 every night, and so they get used to it 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and when they're in the bath they'll 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 even start getting tired. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You know how babies fight the sleep 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They're like 'no, no another moment of light' 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 right? when we get older we wish we'd [br]never fought the sleep 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but, we need to get into routine. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So if you want to shower and then you want[br]to like brush your hair, brush your teeth 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 wash your face, we all have things we have[br]to do to get to bed 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So let's start putting them into a[br]schedule so we have a routine. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A bedtime routine. And I promise that it[br]will help. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Cause oddly enough our bodies are [br]programmed, and they get used to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it's almost like on the weekend when you [br]wake up when your alarm would 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 normally go off 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and for like five minutes you're like[br]"why the heck am I awake? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's six thirty in the morning! who wants to---" 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and then you're like ::snoring:: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You know, cause you don't have to get up 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but your body knows that it normally[br]gets up at this time 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and it can be the same for going to bed 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So number 2 is routine and that leads us 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 right into number three, which is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 setting your circadian
