They have to get a ride with the truckers from the logging companies.

So if they're raped by the truckers, it's unlikely that they will get a ride to the police station.

The parents also don't have the awareness, because of their remote location.

It's a logical fear.

They are a small community, so they fear for their security if they were to make a report.

They do not have any protection for themselves.

They fear revenge from the truckers and logging companies if they were to take action.
