Good morning.
We got up a little early and came here to take a boat.
We're going from Nice to St. Tropez.
I can't wait; it's somewhere I've always wanted to go.
We're here.
I wonder what kind of boat it'll be.
We'll be heading out soon.
Wow!
This is so awesome!
I'm so happy!
We've arrived in St. Tropez.
I've always wanted to come here.
It's my first time here.
The boat ride from Nice took about 2 ½ hours.
I'm kind of feeling jet lagged.
So cute.
I got really hooked on French movies a little after turning 20,
and at that time I fell in love with the movie And God Created Woman starring Brigitte Bardot.
This was the town she lived in.
⠀
(The movie was also filmed here)
That's why it's a town I had always wanted to come to.
I was finally able to make it.
I'm happy.
There are also some pretty flowers blooming.
The sunlight is super strong.
We'll be hanging out around here until our return boat.
So cute.
It's packed.
Is this like a flea market?
Feels nice.
We got some takeout.
The small version.
⠀
(Their famous tart tropézienne)
Let's eat.
It's flaky.
-It's good, right?
-Yeah.
It's not too sweet and kind of nostalgic.
It's really good.
We went here.
Bakeries everywhere are selling this.
What a good experience.
I had been looking forward to it.
I'm so happy.
Good morning.
Today, it's raining in France for the first time since I've been here.
It's raining right now.
We'll be going to a town on the border of Italy.
(We're going to Menton)
It's fun to change the scenery a bit.
It's famous for lemons.
We just got to the station
and will be heading there by train.
We've arrived in Menton.
The train was 50 minutes late.
Japan really is impressive [when it comes to trains being on time].
But it was really fun,
and the view along the coast was beautiful.
Right now, we're taking a walk by the seaside.
We haven't decided on anything to do, though.
It's pretty.
We'll be eating lunch somewhere.
It's really humid.
There are way less people here compared to Nice.
It's got a laidback feel.
And there's a mix of things.
Like, there's a Ferris wheel in the back.
The colors are all different, or rather, really colorful.
But there are a lot of yellow or cream buildings.
It also feels a bit unique.
The Tour de France is going on in Nice right now
Today is final day.
It's a cycling competition around France.
It's always held every summer.
Apparently there have about 4 Japanese people who have participated.
It's a very tough sport,
and the tournament is said to be the toughest in the world.
So when we left Nice this morning,
there were tons of caution tape and police cars lined up.
There was a lot of excitement going on for the race.
Last night, it felt like a pre-festival celebration.
We didn't know what was going on, though.
A ton of fireworks were suddenly launched,
and we could see a little bit of them from our place.
It was awesome.
It started feeling very festive around the city.
There were DJs playing outside,
and apparently there were about 5,000 people.
I'm glad I could be here at a very special time.
It was coincidental, though.
We've come down to the beach.
Time really is flowing by leisurely.
It feels really nice.
Just by going 20-30 minutes away by train,
the atmosphere completely changes
and it's all so lovely.
This is the view from the beach.
Isn't it great?
It's really nice.
It's drizzling a bit, though.
I'm glad to be here. So happy.
Maybe you won't be able to see the difference from photos.
I think the vibe is a little different when you come here.
Look.
There are bunch of boats.
They called out to me.
That kind of communication is really nice, isn't it?
That happens a lot overseas.
Stuff like, "Your dress is cute."
People often talk to you even at the market.
It's nice.
It's the awards ceremony for the Tour de France.
Wow!
I can't see anything!
It's so exciting.
So cool!
Wow!
Okay.
-I did it!
-You got it on it?
Which one?
I don't know!
Good morning.
Day 2 in Paris.
We arrived yesterday
and we spent it leisurely, eating at the park and chatting.
Today, the handbag brand Polène invited me to a launch,
which I'm going to right now,
but it started raining really hard.
I'm taking shelter right now.
It's pouring.
Will it stop?
We're at Polène.
They have a lot of bags.
They're really cute.
You can also buy these flowers, apparently.
They seem to have stores in New York and Tokyo as well.
Their stuff is cute.
This seems to be inside of it as well.
(Simple and really delicious cookies)
(I recommend them for souvenirs)
I finally got to see a Crazy Horse show!
It was so cute!
So wonderful.
It was so cool.
I'm totally satisfied.
On this Europe trip I did so many things I wanted to do.
It was so luxurious.
These days were so special that I'll never forget them.
It was 10 days long,
but I got to do a lot of things.
I was so happy—it was like my dreams came true every day.
It really was so much fun.
-It was fun.
-It was the best.
Each day made me really happy.
We'll be in Paris tomorrow as well,
but I'll be taking the day off from filming.
I have no idea how I'm going to edit or put these videos together.
I hope I was able to document the fun atmosphere.
It's made me want to work hard again when I go back to Japan.
It was so much fun.
Thanks so much for watching!
See you later!
My bangs are all crazy!
