In the Airport with Moojiji
London
23 November 2013
(with subtitles)
[Mooji with music] Beloved Father,
who dwells within the soul of my being,
whose name is 'I Am'.
Be in the Heart of God
[Mooji with music]
Veneration to your holy name.
I'm not trying to convert you.
I'm not trying to convert you to any religion.
I'm just telling you what you are.
Showing you what you are.
This is what I say, then maybe people listen.
Because a lot of religious people
are afraid to open their heart.
They think somebody's trying to convert them.
I don't want to make anybody into any religion.
Not even if you are Buddhist, Christian,
Catholic, Islam, Jain, whatever it is.
You don't have to change anything.
You don't have to change your religion
to find the Truth.
But you must be open.
Because if you say in your heart,
'There's only Christianity',
and you're the greatest Christian in the world,
you still have not
finished your task in this world.
If you say, 'There's only Buddhism',
'There's only Islam, only Islam',
and you block everything else,
you're going to have to come back to this world.
Because you have not yet met the God
who is the God of the universe.
I don't want anybody to follow me and say that
'Oh, Mooji is a Hindu'.
I'm not a Hindu. I'm not a Christian.
I feel like if you want to follow Christ,
go before Christianity and walk with him,
because he is not a Christian.
Meet the Christ who is not a Christian,
and walk with him there.
You don't have to be a Buddhist.
Don't take on all of that.
You want to be the Buddha,
don't become a Buddhist.
Identify yourself not even with Ananda.
Identify yourself with Buddha.
And listen to his spirit, not to the scriptures.
Listen to him. That's what I say.
You want to meet the prophet Muhammad?
You don't have to be Islamic.
You don't have to be a Muslim.
You can just begin to feel his spirit
and what he is inside you,
because he is That.
And the Truth is not a religion.
It's not a religion in the traditional sense.
And yet, at the same time, in its expression,
Dharma is true religion.
But it doesn't mind
if you call it
Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, whatever.
All that must be there is that
there is a search for Truth.
And don't narrow yourself and say,
'This is my religion, it's the only ...'
No. Because for me, that's like saying,
'Indian food is the greatest food in the world'
or 'Chinese food is the greatest food
in the world'.
That's how it is to say,
'Christianity is the only religion,
the best religion'.
No. You don't have to say this.
That's indoctrination.
You don't need to say this.
Jesus is not pleased with you for saying,
'Christianity is the only way'.
God is not pleased with you,
'Oh, this is my son, Christianity',
because God is not a Christian.
You understand?
But if Christianity is what you grew up with,
then follow it
and find Jesus in the Christianity,
and touch and be in Jesus' heart.
If you're born in Islam, it's not an accident,
it's a blessing to be born in Islam.
But, go to the Prophet
and sit in the Prophet's heart.
You're a Buddhist?
It's a blessing to be born Buddhist.
But go and sit in the Buddha's heart.
You're a Hindu? It's a blessing to be Hindu.
Go and sit in Shiva's heart.
But nobody is born a Satanist.
You understand?
That's just some strangeness.
But God gives also that
because somehow Satan comes from Him as well.
This is your choice.
