And we're back with red live from Munich. These pictures were taken 30 years apart. The 30 years it took Saygin Yalcin to become a billionaire And his story sounds like a modern fairy tale. From housing estate in Bremen to luxury penthouse in Dubai. How the son of Turkish immigrants climbed his way to the top through lots of hard work, we'll show you now. As a child, Saygin Yalcin lived with his entire family in a studio apartment in Bremen. But now he's a multi-billionaire and lives in Dubai. In the world's tallest building. Burj Khalifa. When I was a kid, I said that I wanted to earn 5,000 marks a month. And I've met that goal, haven't I? How the entrepreneur made his way to a of luxury with the Kardashians ... I was wondering why you were here. and eats pizza with mates from Bremen... You know what? It's really good to chill with you guys every now and then. Not having to worry about business. And why he would give up all his wealth for his family. Many people say that money's not important until they get a €100,000 bill from a doctor and then money suddenly becomes really important. Los Angeles, Rodeo Drive. Entrepreneur Saygin Yalcin is in LA on business. Normally he travels in a Rolls Royce. But when you first meet him, he seems to stayed grounded. Whether that's really authentic... He just turned 33 this week and already noticeably tough. From an early age, the native of Bremen learned he had to work hard to succeed. I started delivering papers when I was 12. Flyers for the supermarket. I did inventory at the supermarket chains. I applied for a job at a fast food joint. Wasn't hired. In hindsight, I'm glad. Saygin graduated from high school. He was able to finance business school with side jobs for €5,000 a semester. At just 24 years of age, he headed to Dubai with just a rucksack and lots of ideas. At the time he had no idea that this was going to be the beginning of making billions. I sat down in a restaurant. 6 or 8 months. No idea what I was doing. But there was free wi-fi. And that was important. I'd order a salad and hold all sorts of meetings there. It was there that I hired my first team. Acquired investors. And wrote my business plan. So, if you don't have an office, you make yourself one. He became a millionaire by 27 and a billionaire by 32. He has formed companies all over the world, but caught the biggest fish of all three years ago when he founded the most successful online auto retailer in the Middle East. From that point on, he's been one of Dubai's greats. He has meetings with the royal family. Oh, my God, it's incredible. The gates are opening. Wow. He flies the world in a private jet. Welcome to Dubai. And he drives $2 million cars to back up his image. Whatever it takes for business and his career. His secret to success? He never takes a break. Non-stop work, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. Such a high pressure career has its impact on his health. Something I only understood last year when my doctor worried that I never sleep. He thought that could quickly lead to a stroke or heart attack. Simply because you work all the time. Since then, the multi-billionaire makes time for sport and takes care of himself. He's become aware how important health is. Saygin's family has had to deal with a particularly hard fate. My sister has an incurable disease. And we've been trying to find a solution for years. I've been working with companies, research organisations, and doctors for many years and we've made a lot of progress. So, I would give everything, all that I have to find a cure. His little sister suffers from a severe form of epilepsy. She's spent years in hospital. The entrepreneur does everything for his family. He protects them. Photos need to be blurred. As often as business allows, he flies home to visit family. The studio apartment brings back terrible memories. Once, a drug addict was lying outside the door when I opened it. Bleeding. It was a whole other world, let's say. Things have changed. The billionaire's family emigrated to Germany in the 1960s. His grandmother worked in a metalworking factory for 25 years. His parents were the last to move. They had nothing. Which is why they brought up their son to be grateful for everything. We always did our laundry here. The washing machine was too expensive. Here you could always do laundry for just a mark. The self-made billionaire no longer has to do his own laundry, of course. But his home in Bremen keeps him grounded. He remains closely tied to his old mates. The entrepreneur living the high life in Dubai, and hanging with mates at the old chip shop in Bremen. Hey, bro, how's it going? Want something to eat? Come in! Yeah, chicken with chips and mayo. And a hot chocolate, please. Nothing's changed about him, but he just keeps succeeding. But the friendship has remained the same. The two met 18 years ago playing football. No envy of his best mate. Relaxing with his best friend. An all-too-rare time off for the billionaire. Free from work, off the grid, that's really nice. I think that's what real luxury is. When he's here in Germany, whether with us or his family, he can't completely tune out business. Childhood photos confirm this. Always chic, always busy. That's true. I've never changed. Always on the phone. Saygin Yalcin is back home for 24 hours. To get the console out and invite mates over for pizza. A short break before work continues. Tomorrow, we're flying to London. I've got a meeting there. And then it's back to Dubai. And I'm taking all my friends along. It's special for me. For Saygin, maybe not but it's something special for me. A highlight for his mates, everyday for the billionaire. Whether in Dubai, London, or LA, he always has to watch his reputation. The 33-year old caught the press's eye only in November when he gave Kendall Jenner a Rolls Royce for her birthday. Since I was in LA, I thought I'd surprise my girlfriend. I asked "What are you doing here?" Happy birthday! The entrepreneur met friends like the Kardashians through business. Kendall's been visiting him more often in Dubai. "Say Hi, Kendall." But he doesn't like to show this side of his life. He doesn't like to talk about his celebrity friends. In quite moments, he thinks a lot about his family. And suddenly makes a surprise stop. Buy some toys for a children's hospital. Nathalie, here you go. You're welcome. I've never been given a drone before. Making people happy, but especially kids is something truly special. Especially here, where they don't feel so great. Helping them feel good takes just a couple of minutes. It's his way of reaching out to people. While we were filming, I really got the sense that Saygin Yalcin really has stayed grounded. But he still has to think of his business. Dinner in a fine French restaurant. Private room. For $5,000. Hi, Jeff. Nice to see you. Doing well? His family once could have lived off of $5000 for months. Now he can spend that much on a single night out. Something really special for him. As a child, I said that I'd like someday to earn 5,000 marks a month. It's more now, I'm sure. Saygin Yalcin has made it and no longer fights his way to the top of the table. And that's probably the greatest treasure of all.
