Part of building rapport
with an interviewer
involves being polite and positive.
For example, if the interviewer asks
a good question,
begin your response with,
'That's a great question'
and the tone of the response
will be well received.
Telling stories often makes
for a more memorable interview,
and you can use storytelling to show
how you're able to meet the challenge
of staying alert and safe even after
a long trek.
You could bring up instances
where your safety training
and driving skills either prevented
something or helped to resolve an issue.
Again, try to uncover objections
by asking if your response
was adequate of if they'd like
more detail.
