Everyone loves Youtube An endless library of great videos you can watch for free But we don't all love Youtube's recommendations And seventy percent of viewing time on the platform, is driven by videos they suggest. Sometimes the videos Youtube recommends are weird or off-topic. But sometimes, they are downright harmful. Mozilla has heard from people who were recommended anti-LGBT content, videos that encourage eating disorders, fake claims about fraudelent elections, and much more. Youtube says it has improved its algorithm, but Mozilla's latest research finds it still suggests videos that are racist, misogynistic, conspiratorial, or misinformation. Sometimes it even suggests videos that breach Youtube's very own content guidelines, videos that Youtube later removed for being harmful, dangerous, or deceptive. It's got to stop. It's up to us to get Youtube to change. Find out more, and learn how you can take action at foundation.mozilla.org/regrets
