Translation & Subtitles: thoseguiltyeyes | scandal-heaven.com Today is our Tokyo performance, day 1. I'll be filming what our stage outfits are, one at a time, for the Japan leg of the tour. We were styled again by our stylist Kyohei Ogawa. We've always gone with Kyohei. I'll head into the dressing room. Is it okay if we introduce our outfits? HARUNA's outfit is... Ah... -Right before we go on... -I'm warming my throat up. I'm not injured, so please pay this no mind. This is what HARUNA's outfit is from head to toe. Nice. It's a military jacket-style dress. -Any points of interest? -Let's see. Where is it... Ah, there are surprisingly a lot of little details. Like this. -Ah, inside of the fabric... -Inside of the fabric are pockets. -You can't put anything in them. -That's right. That's true. There's no place to access it. This is what it looks like in the back. Cute. There's also a casualness to it. -Yeah, and it has a lacy-feel to it. -It's a mix of things. What about your shoes? They're boots. -It's just that this is hot. -Right? When you come to the drums during the latter half of the show, you're like, "I'm burning up!" Yeah, that's why I open it a bit and let air in. It's really cute. So that was HARUNA's outfit. Thanks! Next up is MAMI. -MAMI's outfit is... -It's kind of like a button-up shirt. Like, on the shirt... What do you call this? There are a lot of fabrics attached to it. -There's so much fabric. -Yeah. This sleeve is on the shorter side, -and this one is really long. -It is. -Is it to make the guitar easier to play? -Yeah, I think so. -Also, design-wise... -So cute. The movement of it looks nice when you spin around. Also, this is kind of like another sleeve. You can put your arm through this inside. -It's cute. -It is. And your shoes? My shoes... These are ones I always wear. They're from Grounds. -That style's popular, isn't it? -Yeah. It's like ham. Can you tap on your effects pedals okay? Yeah, I use the tip of the shoe. You got the hang of it. I see. -Can you use the spaces in between the soles [to step on your board]? -Oh yeah! They can go in between the gaps. I see. Thank you! So cute. This is what TOMO's outfit looks like. It's very breezy. The fabric colors are slightly different between our outfits. And TOMO's... Yeah, TOMO's the lightest. -It's sheer and light-colored. -Yeah. Any points of interest? -By your neck? -It's frilly. -So cute. -It's pretty dandy. -Nice. This is also fluffy and frilly. It's a little longer in the back. It is. These boots that I've worn countless times with casual outfits have been turned into stage boots. That's definitely a SCANDAL thing. Our style is about incorporating casual pieces into our stage outfits. -That's TOMO's outfit. -Yeah. Nice. -Yep. -Cute. -Thanks! Lastly, this is what my outfit looks like. They're loose, wide-leg pants. There are cuffs at the ankles. Since the drum beaters will go into wide-leg pants when playing the drums, I had them make it like this. -You can't come in right now. (Staff just entered) -Don't come in. (They were kicked out♥) This is what it looks like in the back. It's a bit open in the back. The cuffs are lacy and puffy. It does this when I raise my drumsticks up. So cute. So frilly. They're easy to perform in, works well with our instruments, and has a softness to it. That's what our outfits are like. We carefully made these outfits while discussing things with Kyohei a lot. Stuff from choosing which fabrics to the shape--everything. That's how these were made. SCANDAL's current vibe and the world of the album are what we hope to convey via our outfits, too. Something like that. Today, I introduced our tour outfits. How was it? Okay, now... There's 3 minutes left until we go on, so I'll do my best! Thanks so much! Bye bye! -Bye bye! -Bye bye! (Bonus) There's this as well. We go out on stage in these silver robes and perform the first song "MIRROR" in them. These really help to further create the vibe. When posting live photos on social media, we also hope to get people excited who are wondering what our concerts are like, and those who aren't able to come see us. And since the album's called "MIRROR," we imagined coming out in outfits that would reflect the light, so we tried this out. There's a headband inside of the hood. We put it on and perform like that. Let's do our best today too! -Thank you! -Thank you! Good job! Thank you! Our Japan tour finale is done! That was amazing! Thank you, Japan!
