Balloon twisting art is great hobby.

Great skills to have.

And it's not a secret

that many balloon twisters make money

by doing balloons.

And when we talk about business,

any kind of business,

the main thing about it is

to get customers.

So how do balloon twisters get customers?

Well, there are different ways.

Today I want to share with you

a certain way to get customers who,

specifically customers who

don't really want balloons to begin with.

It is not a secret,

but people do like free stuff.

So, balloon twister can actually give them

what they want.

Free stuff.

Free stuff made out of balloons of cause.

Well, that's what I prefer to do.

So, let's see how it works.

So, next time when you work on street,

and got bored-there is no currently any customers

you serving.

You may see a family with kids

going your way.

But you recognized a look on face of adults.

They have no intention to buy any balloons.

That's exactly time when you may try

to get them somehow with free stuff.

And you start it very simple.

"Free popsicles to any first customer!"

"Free popsicle to first customer. Free popsicles.

Yes we have free popsicles of any flavor you like!"

What is your favourite flavor?

Would you like...

I have cranberry, blueberry, banana, orange

Banana? You like banana?

Is banana this color?

Oh...good, good.

And what kind of balloon animals do you like?

Do you like cats, dogs,

or may be some super hero you like?

Yeh, you like Spiderman.

I know. Spiderman is good!

Did you watch the movie.

Spiderman movies.

And the 1st part and the 2nd?

I like the second movie.

It's really good. Yeah.

OK.

Here is you popsicle.

Banana flavour popsicle.

And it goes to the adult.

Yeah, here you are.

And for you little one...

you can have something different

if you mom lets you.

And now the most important part.

Probably most important part.

The free popsicle you give to adult.

Not to the child!

To the adult.

Why it's important?

Be course it's encourage the adult to buy

balloon for the child.

As you may remember when I was making

free popsicle, I was talking to the child.

Trying to find out what kind of cartoon characters,

balloon animals they like.

This way I know what they want.

And the parents as well got the idea

what the have to buy

to get away from you quickly.

So, again.

You handle the free popsicle to adult.

You give them along with free popsicle

you business card or flier,

whatever you have with your contact information.

This way you get chance they probably

that they may call you for birthday party

or whatever other great events.

You get a chance to sell something

for their children as well.

And another thing you got is, the customers

standing in front of you.

It is always good.

It attracts other people to your stand.

Best advertisment.

And you keep yourself busy.

So, as you may see there are many good points

to give one or two minutes of your time

to give free stuff.

A...in past we use tulip twist to make

different things.

Today I use it again.

In all previously published instructions

I made balloon sculpture with video camera

taking picture from behind above my shoulder.

Today I am working in front of camera.

It's a bit different view.

I think it is good chance for you

to take a look how a...same thing,

tulip twist is done.

So, inflate balloon leaving a long tail

and just...we need just about 5 inch long bubble.

One bubble.

There are different ways to make tulip twist.

We can use the...the nozzle of the balloon.

Or we can make a small

about thumb nail size bubble.

Like this.

I found it is easier to work with bubble

than just with the nozzle.

So, twist thumb size nail, thumb size nail bubble.

Force it inside of the balloon.

Little.

Grab it with your fingers like that.

Alright.

Again.

We have to push the bubble inside of the balloon

up to this end.

And then pull out your finger

out of the balloon.

Beautiful.

That's it.

Now we can lock the bubble.

And push it back inside of the balloon.

That's it.

That is how it's done.

Different flavor.

Ok.

There is another thing about this sculpture.

Popsicles sounds good.

But at Summer we can always fill up same balloon

with water, not with air...

with water.

And then make the popsicles.

Well, it won't be the popsicle.

It will be the water filled hand grenade.

If you prefer water fights.
