Hi, how you're you doing? Justin Sandercoe here. Welcome to my intermediate guitar method. Now the way I've organised the lessons for this intermediate course is into 5 foundation levels, which will lead into style modules. Now the reason I've done like this, is that not everyone wants to learn every different style. So this way in the 5 foundation stages, we're going to cover all of the technical and theoretical and practical elements that you need, in order to apply them to the style modules where you can choose the different styles that you want to learn. Now the things that we're going to cover in this foundation level is: E-shape and A-shape barre chords, triads, one position of the major scale, the blues scale, a hybrid blues scale, the major pentatonic, basic 16th note strumming, notes on the fingerboard, playing with a metronome... Sorry, I'm having to read off my little list of stuff because I can't remember all of the things. We're going to be doing lots of transcribing, working out chord progressions, working out melodies, like lead lines, rythmic dictation, bit of note reading, learning to read notes in the open position, which is a really, really important skill. Controlling string noise, minimum movement, playing with the metronome, string bending, and probably a whole lot more stuff that my eyes have glazed over on my little list here. So there is a whole lot of things that we're going to cover. Now the idea here: each one of this different modules, like foundation 1, foundation 2, is going to take a while. It's not like the begginer's course, where each one could be kind of done in a couple of weeks. Most of these I would suspect is going to be kind of a month long to get all the stuff done, because there's a whole lot of information in each different level. So really make sure that you've mastered properly, the things, And there is a little kind of a goals list on the practise schedule for each level. There is some goals that I think that you should try to achieve before you move onto the next stage. Now having completed all five, there is a consolidation lesson where we go through and make sure that you've got all your stuff done. And then you let loose onto the style modules, where you're going to apply all of your new found skills to whatever styles that you fancy choosing. So I really hope you enjoy the course and I'll see you for your lessons real soon.
