0:03:20.003,0:03:23.852 And I'm not talking about inking[br]or tattooing that a person decides 0:03:23.876,0:03:28.855 but rather marketers using the body[br]as a specific type of canvas. 0:03:28.879,0:03:32.267 New objectification culture[br]has emerged in the past ten years 0:03:32.291,0:03:34.351 and it's marked by two things. 0:03:34.375,0:03:39.234 One is an increase in the number of[br]sexually objectifying ads and television, 0:03:39.258,0:03:43.302 movies, video games, music videos,[br]magazines and other mediums. 0:03:43.326,0:03:45.935 And the second advertising component, 0:03:45.959,0:03:50.599 is that the images have become[br]more extreme, more hypersexualized. 0:03:50.623,0:03:53.288 So, why are we experiencing[br]this now?
