A slow walk of 200 million years long

To leave those traces were the creatures

That lived in Earth for the longest time

The great reptiles that, in past's shadow

have invented social and parental links.

Dinosaurs, in the end, become extinct

But they did not disappear at all

Their fossil remains, results of bizarre

Physical-Chemical processes

are a statement of an

extraordinary existence

that made them unconditioned protagonists

of the whole animal world for

tens million years

In Italy,

due to particular geological conditions

no one has ever found a clear and

relevant traces of their ancient presence

But now a great discovery:

into Rovereto's mountains, in the province

of Trento, within rocks and marbles

already describes by Dante in his

"Divina Commedia", many dinosaurs have

grazed and hunt, so these mythological

creatures finally can join

Italy's history.

At now, 130 traces were found, belong

to about 30 creatures,

of two and four footed animals,

of 1/2 tons weight and herbivorous.

They were all migrating from

south to north in about one week.

Other traces will be found by the diggings

programmed by Natural Science Museum of

Trento and Rovereto.
