Good morning.
I'm going to be recording a week-long vlog.
We've entered the rainy season.
Today, it's cloudy but not yet raining.
-Hello!
-Hello!
-Haven't seen you since China.
-Thanks!
-Is it okay if I film?
-It is!
Thanks!
I'm recording a week-long vlog right now.
-Ah, really?
-Yeah.
-Thanks for coming to see us!
-Of course!
(Sensei came to Shanghai to se our concert)
⠀
It really energized me.
-Being able to see you China really energized me.
-That makes me happy.
-That makes me happy.
-I'm grateful.
-Congrats on finishing your tour!
-Thank you!
In Shanghai, didn't you say your legs hurt?
How are they?
I think they're okay now.
That's good.
It's a part of traveling.
Just like that.
-Use your arms.
-This is so tough.
Three more push-ups. You've got this!
Two more.
Go for it! One more!
Okay! Those are done.
(Can't find the water they poured for me)
⠀
We might have left the water somewhere.
I've lost my head.
I'm heading to see a movie.
Recently, I've really been liking driving to the theater.
I've always liked going to the movies alone.
But driving there by car makes me even happier.
I'm heading home.
That was fun.
I went to see the movie Challengers.
It's about tennis players.
It was a light-hearted and fun movie to watch.
It's really nice seeing a late show.
No matter what movie I watch, it makes me feel happy.
I love it a lot.
It's currently a little before 11 pm.
Today was another nice day.
I slept well,
replied to emails about checking merch,
went to training,
and saw a movie.
I don't always decide, "Oh, I'll go to the movies today."
There are many times when I just decide to go see the next movie that's playing.
How do you guys spend your days off?
Isn't there a huge trend in doing fan-related activities these days?
I've never been that enthusiastic about one thing since I was a child.
That's why I think that it's amazing when you can love one thing so deeply.
(Sometimes I'm kind of sad I can't ride that wave)
There are some things I love very much,
but I'm not sure it's on the same kind of scale.
(But that's fine in its own way)
I was talking about that with a friend the other day when we went out to eat.
I could understand what she was saying about it.
I have a lot of friends like that.
There are 3 more movies that I want to see.
I'll probably come back this week.
I feel like I'm going to have sore muscles tomorrow.
I can feel it a little bit right now.
Oh man.
Don't stop in a weird place.
I'm going to cut the clip here.
See you tomorrow.
Goodnight!
(My monthly eyebrow salon visit)
(It's done in about 40 minutes)
(Tokyo's super hot and humid)
(The sound of wind chimes is refreshing)
Today, we're shooting for our fan club birthday card.
We do a new one every year.
A year goes by so fast.
(Deciding on how to shoot it)
Nice.
(Having a meeting while eating cake)
We have rehearsals today.
Festivals and events have also started, along with solo concerts.
Let's make it a fun summer!
We can include it after "Fanfare."
But the surprise will end there.
-Well, true.
-Yeah.
It'll connect nicely, though.
A staffer is leaving at the end of this month.
She's been with us for a really long time.
Her last day is on the 30th, which is a day we're actually performing,
so we're going to do a surprise for her during our set.
We're now discussing whether we should suddenly perform a song not on setlist we haven't told her about.
⠀
(Of course, with a song that fits into that day's concept)
I'm nervous.
We've started that.
Oh, yeah.
-How is it?
-I don't really get it.
You don't?
It's hard to talk about it.
I'm the drummer RINA. Thanks for having me
Where did you go in Asia?
Taiwan and--thank you.
-Taiwan...
-Taiwan,
Guangzhou and Shanghai in China,
and lastly, South Korea.
-I've never been to South Korea.
-You haven't?
That's really surprising!
I definitely would have guessed you have!
I was, before the pandemic.
-Ah, the timing didn't work.
-Yeah.
If you left in the morning,
you'd probably be able to make it a day trip.
That's true.
If you do your best.
-I don't really like to fly, though.
-Ah, I see.
It is tough if you don't like it.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
I'm back at home.
The other day our CEO gave me this souvenir from London.
He went on a trip to London.
These are called "Tea Huggers"?
The blue and pink packaging is cute.
It smelled amazing from the moment I opened it.
I really like this mug.
I happened to go inside a store that had a pop-up shop in it,
and the person who makes these mugs was there.
We talked about a lot of things.
I thought it was an overseas brand at first,
but it's a brand that was created by a Japanese woman.
She said she lived in Paris, France for about 20 years.
She uses materials from Paris for everything, including coloring,
and she lives in Japan right now
We had some great conversations and kind of became good friends,
and I promised to visit her studio next time.
It was so much fun. It made me happy.
When I happen to stop by a place that has designs I think are cool or cute
and talk to the person who makes them,
I often find that somehow we like the same things.
I guess when your likes are close to someone else's,
you can relate to what they're making and what they're saying.
When I meet someone I think is great and click with,
I want to actively talk to and get to know them.
I'll keep doing so.
Today was another laidback day.
I went to the salon in the afternoon, and that's about it.
I lightened my hair a bit.
It's tied up right now, but I added some pink to it.
It's for the summer.
How about here?
I thought we needed to learn it by heart.
That's impossible!
Here. Thank you.
And then go right into it.
Yeah.
How will she react?
She'll think I've suddenly started to play a different song.
-She'll be really scared.
-She will.
What if she comes to stop me?
-Our roadie will start playing it.
-Yeah.
She'll know since it's a different tempo.
-It was a pretty difficult project.
-How come?
-When...
-Did you find out about it?
-When?
-When did you find out?
When we were setting up the stage.
(She saw the setlist before our set☺)
⠀
I see.
Then we messed up.
(The surprise failed!?)
⠀
We messed up.
-It was pretty difficult...
-It's impossible to do it with the wrong setlist after all.
We didn't have faith in ourselves.
Darn it!
-But did it make you happy a bit?
-It did!
I was happy.
⠀
(That's good!)
-I'm glad.
-I was like, she's acting normal!
Ogu-chan, thanks for everything!
(Thanks for the past 12 years)
⠀
Thank you!
-So cute!
-Good work! Thank you!
And here's a present from the four of us.
It's a new computer!
-I'm so happy!
-It's a high-spec one!
Seriously?!
-512GB.
-Yeah.
8GB.
Did you know I like this color best?
(We did not♥)
-I'm glad!
-That's good!
-It's hard to choose what size storage space to get.
-Right?
I'm so happy!
Thank you so much!
-Good work!
-Good work!
