There were thousands of them ordinary canadians on the streets at toronto's G20 protesting peacefully until the police shut them down. They were dragging me over the concrete and I'm screaming trying to get their attention. Now, the stories you haven't heard They strip searched me about 20 hours after they arrested me. The pictures you haven't seen The summit from the street and the people who never dreamed this would happen to them I think we did our best I think Is that good enough? I'm _____ It has been 8 months since the G20 and the iconic images are still with us burning police cars, rampaging mobs the massive security presence that according to the official story is all that stood between canada's largest city and chaos. But that was never the whole story about what happened that weekend in June, and 8 months later shocking new images continue to emerge captured on cell phones and mini cams by participants who found themselves on the other side of all that G20 order.
