♪ (jazzy music) ♪ (male, off-screen) When people look at you, what do you want them to see? The real me. (David, off-screen) I am so excited because I saw the first season this last week. We both did. We both did, and I have to say it's one of my favorite shows. What is it about being so honest and real? We're like a big family, and always there for each other. What's your favorite part, Jamie? The family of it. Yeah. Like coming together with the leaps and bounds. I got this one for you. You mean the world to me. You're amazing, I promise to take care of you for the rest of my life. Marriage means that someone will always love you, and care about you a lot. Could you show us your ring? ♪ (wedding music plays) ♪ (applause) (David) We're gonna draw some words, and go from there. You wanna start with a word? Independence. Freedom. Love. Oh my God... Happiness. Legit. (David, off-screen) Legit? Yes. (male, off-screen) That's actually my word, too. And why legit? It means good. The loves in my life is my mom and my dad. I really love my parents a lot, and me and my mom are really good friends. And I love her so much. What interests you guys? The kind of music that I enjoy is like... hard rock. And I definitely like R-rated movies. Me, I love dancing. And I love--my favorite type of music is pop rock. And my favorite singer is Adam Lambert. I have a fear of the dark, myself. My biggest fear was going a little bit too fast, actually, and find out I actually have a kid or something. Is there a fear that you go through? I don't have one. (David, off-screen) You don't have one? Nope. We like the same food actually. Really? Yes, bean burritos! Those could be powerful! (laughter) People with Down syndrome can do anything. And Down syndrome never stops us When my mom raised me, she found out I had Down syndrome. And that's okay. I want to inspire people who have Down syndrome. Just be yourself. Let things go. Don't be so in a box. You first, then me. So do you want me to tell them what I would like to teach people? Yes. Then you tell them what you'd like. Exactly! I want to teach people that every life has value. And that it doesn't matter what you're born with, everybody's life has a purpose and a reason for being here. Every single person has the opportunity to change the world. Even if it's only the world right around them. We all have talents. God has given everybody a talent. If they would nurture that in every child. I think the public could accept them more. And see that we are just like everybody else. If they stare at me, just say hello! You don't have to make a big deal of it just accept me as I am. One of the things I'm hoping is coming across from the show is how different the all are. A lot of times people prejudge Down syndrome to one kind of person. The lump everyone who has Down syndrome. They are beautiful children, angels, they are marvelous. Sometimes they feel that they're all the same, and they are not. They are very different from each other. They have their own personalities. To families who are having kids with Down syndrome right now, who are very young, the new generation coming up, they have a lot to look forward to.
