The Hijabi Monologues performed in the Peacock Theatre, Dublin (Ireland), on 9th March 2012.

The performance includes twelve stories and two introductions.

The Hijabi Monologues originated in the US and is about creating a theatre space for Muslim women's stories; a space to breathe as they are; a space that does not claim to tell every story and speak for every voice. The stories go beyond the much debated hijab, and present a deeper journey where claims are challenged and stereotypes confronted'.
