Work at love | Matthew Sanchez | TEDxMountainViewCollege
Description:

What do a job interview and a first date have in common? In both instances most people are concerned with ideals, looks, and most importantly, feelings. If the relationship works, we might continue to see each other for months or maybe years. Then, banality hits. We can find ourselves in a rut which makes people wallow in self-pity. What would your professional and personal life look like if you invested as much energy today as you did when you first started? Matthew Sanchez truly believes that when all people begin to push themselves and search for their “why,” the world will be a better place.

Matthew Sanchez had the opportunity to do an internship as part of his master’s degree at a children’s advocacy center in North Texas where he provided mental therapy for abuse victims of all ages. It was here that he began to recognize his “why” and develop beliefs in his purpose to help and inspire others to discover their mental grit and push their personal limits - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
