My favorite thing about the internet is
its creative potential

Could learn stuff from it

And the fact that I can talk to
my mom and dad for free

The openness and the potential
for inclusion

Meet new people and actually connect
with friends all across the world

I'm a little concerned with like people
tracking

what I'm doing online and where I'm going.

My biggest worry about the internet is
that it's going to be incredibly boring

That the internet is just becoming a
shopping mall

The amount of data we share
about what we're doing,

about who we are, or what we think

Harassment, hurt, harm, those are the
things that I worry about

when I worry about the
internet.

The future that I would like
for the internet is a place

of cohesion, that is a place that
is being designed by

everyone for everyone.

I use art and code to critique
data tracking on the internet.

By using art to manipulate the
internet, we can teach machines

the otherness and complexity
of our lives.

I'm working to teach youth the
skills they need to

have their best online lives.

It's been pretty incredible, we've
got a 7 year old just behind me

that's running a session. He's been
to MozFest for 5 years and

is now running his own
session, giving back.

I'm working to spotlight promising
approaches to

making the internet healthier.

I'm working to bring the values
of openness and community

to academic research.

I'm working for an internet that
treats people's data respectfully.

I'm working to make sure that the
things that are most precious to you

are preserved on the web forever.

I'm hoping for an internet that is
kind, warm, and welcoming.
