The christening of baby Archie.

Prince Harry and Meghan
paid tribute to Princess Diana

in a very special way
at the christening.

They also released two new
photos.

Amy back with the details.

That's right.
Good morning again, guys.

We all got to see
a little bit more

of baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor
over the weekend.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex

released two official photos
from his christening.

ABC News can confirm
he's a real cutie.

It was a christening
fit for a king.

Baby Archie,
the star of the show,

front and center
in this royal family portrait

celebrating his baptism.

Beaming with pride,
the happy parents,

Harry and Meghan,
were joined, in this official snap,

by Grandpa Charles,
Duchess Camilla,

and proud granny
Doria Ragland.

In a touching tribute
to his mother Princess Diana,

Prince Harry invited her sisters,
Lady Jane Fellowes

and Lady Sarah McCorquodale,
to join the royals

in the official photo.

There were nods to Diana there.

That was clearly very important
to Harry and Meghan,

that she was involved.

Also there: Archie's Uncle William,
and Aunt Kate looking stunning

in a pink Alexander McQueen
number.

Mom Meghan donned one of
her favorite designers,

Christian Dior.

Earlier, the royals had joined
close friends, for an intimate ceremony,

held in the Queen's private
chapel in Windsor castle.

Around 25 people attended.
His immediate family,

and his godparents, who
have not been named.

But the big day
was not without its controversy,

some fans resenting the couple's desire
to keep the godparents' names quiet

and not allow the press
near the event,

instead releasing
two official photos.

Their decision to have
a little bit more privacy

put them on the receiving end
of criticism.

We see people talking about
the fact that public money has been spent

renovating their official residence,
and poses a question really,

as to what is expected of royals.

So the debate that's been sparked,
really, is: What is reasonable to expect

members of the royal family
to share, in exchange

for the funding that they receive
and the position that they hold?

The photo was scrutinized
as soon as released,

with some noticing the large gap
between the two duchesses,

others saying the Cambridge couple
looked uncomfortable.

But little Archie, oblivious
to any intrigue,

delighted his fans,
excited to see how he's growing,

and who he looks like.

I mean, I dunno about the gap.
[Stephanopoulos laughs]

There was an arm there.

It was difficult for them
to be too close.

Lara agrees.

By the way,
the jury is still out

on whether Archie
looks more like Harry,

or Meghan.

But he certainly is cute.

We are not gonna
jump into that debate.

No, but we will later, I'm sure.
