One of the advantages of being born with a diffability (different ability) is that you're practically born uncomfortable. This is not true of everyone, of course. But as a person born deaf, it is for me.
It required learning how to advocate for myself from a young age. Uncomfortable is a fact of life for me. Because of this, I saw how stepping out of the comfort zone leads to progress.
� Yes, I've fallen into the "too comfortable" zone from time to time. It happens to everyone. And it's OK because sometimes we need a break. Just make sure it doesn't go on for too long.
