I vote because it's really important
my voice is heard.

It is a great privilege that
my great grand mother

and her mother
and her mother

did not have

If I'm not voting, then no one's
thinking about my issues

Access to healthcare,

police violence,

immigration reforms,

environmental issues,

access to affordable housing

gender violence against women, queer,
trans and non-binary people of colour

All these policies personally affect me

I am so inspired by this young
beautiful lady sitting next to me

because she is informed.

I look at women like her and they were the
ones who taught me to speak up for myself

We're beginning to see that
we do make a difference

Voting is the way to do it
