My name is Lazaro Msabila

I am the Gala ward education coordinator

I'm happy because we have visitors today

Honestly, it is unsafe to stay in darkness

For institutions, electricity means a lot

It helps pupils during evening studies

The domitories become safer with lights on

because there is a neaby game reserve

thus light from solar panels help pupils

spot danger in domitories and classroom

The panels from SO THEY CAN are helpful

and we wish to get large light bulbs

SO THEY CAN Tanzania has helped us a lot

they granted us fifty eight matresses,

books and other teaching materials

also they train teachers through seminars

Before this NGO helped us, the situation

was crititical as pupils used lanterns

and cannot foster good studying

because lanterns make eyes swell

but after these solar panels were brought

pupils are studying well

even pupils who stay out of school premise

are using them because they are portable

and their homes have no electricity suply

solar power is better than using lamps

I urge all those wishing to help us

to build us domitories and classes

so as to expand this school and accomodate

more pupils in domitories because the

number of pupils wishing to stay in

domitories is growing tremendously.
