A: Hello, I'm Alex and this is Jack,

and welcome to another episode of

Movie Reviews for Mom.

Moms are very very busy,

and they don't have a lot of time

to watch movies cause they're

always doing stuff.

Taking care of us.

We take it upon ourselves to

give all the moms out there

a review of the movie

that is about 1 to 2 minutes,

so they can watch movies

and get things done at the same time.

Let's just jump right into it.

Okay.

Pirates of the Caribbean.

A: You like that movie, right?

J: Yeah!

A: Yeah. J: Totally!

A: We all know Captain Jack Sparrow.

J: Jack Sparrow?

A: What do you think of Jack Sparrow?

J: Uhh, like his hair is kinda funny.

A: Yeah his hair is pretty out there,

it's a pretty ridiculous hairdo

for a pretty ridiculous character.

J: But anyways I don't know

how he does that!

A: No, me neither! So strange.

Let's roll the movie review

for Pirates of the Caribbean.

Dramatic music

J: Jack Sparrow

J: fhwaaa

J: I need to go buy treasure.

J: Oh my goodness!

J: Where's my tresure?

J: Where's my treasure?

J: I can't find my treasure.

J: Smells like dough.

J: Ooooooh, wow.

J: hiyjah

J: Treasure!

J: Now,

J: I gotta find that criminal.

The one, that pirate, oh where is he?

A: Oh no! Jack Sparrow, you found my gold

J: I could not find it.

A: We shall battle for my gold.

[Pirates of the Carribbean theme song]

A: That's my gold!

[inaudible play fighting talk]

A: Gimme back my gold!

A: Help me!
J: Die!

J: Argh, I'm Jack Sparrow!

A: Woaaah, that was a good one

J: Yeaaaaaah
A: That was pretty good

A: So I guess Jack Sparrow is
looking for his treasure,

there's bad guys,
typical kinda pirate movie.

A: Do you think he got the treasure?

A: Yeah, yeah, Jack Sparrow
always gets the treasure

A: Let's see what we have next

A: Mad Hatter
J: [excited gasp]

J: I love Mad Hatter!
A: Yeah

A: Yeah Mad Hatter is pretty great
J: Yeaaah

A: What's the movie Mad Hatter is in?

J: Alice in Wonderland

A: Yes Alice in Wonderland

A: Without further ado,
let's take a look at the clip.

J: I'm in the Mad Hatter

A: yeah yeah

J: And you harmed me

A: yeah, yeah

J: I'll get you a new hat
A: I need a hat

J: These are all the hats

A: Oh wow that's a lot! That's a lot.
I'm liking what I'm seeing already

J: I noticed that you like baseball hats

A: yeah yeah, this is nice

J: Let's try this blue one first

A: Oh wow, this is pretty nice!

J: That looks very good

A: I like it, [chuckle]

J: I think we're done here

A: Can I try on the other ones, or?

J: That will be $100

A: $100!!

J: Do you have that kinda money?

J: The Mad Hatter doesn't come cheap!!

A: Do you take a cheque?

J: Yep

A: Okay, cool

Funky Music

A: Wow, that was great.

A: So obviously the Mad Hatter has
quite an extensive knowledge

of all the different hats out there
J: Yeah

A: You played the Mad Hatter in this

movie review didn't you?
J: Yah, it was super good

J: It takes hard work

A: Correct me if I'm wrong but you studied

for this role for about two years? To be
the Mad Hatter?

J: Yeaah
A: We actually have the test footage

from when you first put on the hat
and started to become the character

J: Yeah
A: Let's take a look at that

J: [slurp] Yummy!

A: How about you ask me, give me the cup
and "do you want some"?

J: Umm yeah

A: Say "do you want some?"

J: Um yeah

A: No no, repeat what I'm saying,
say "do you want some?"

J: Uhhhh, yeah

A: This is what you're gonna do Jack

I'm gonna give this to you,do
the same thing I'm doing

J: Do you wa-
A: want some, yeah you say that

J: Do you want some
A: Yep

J: And then it's me

A: And then

A: But you gotta say
do you want some first

J: I do

A: No. you say that to me

J: I do

A: Do you want some

A: Sure, thank you

A & J: Woaaah

J: The face paint, definitely Jesus

A: The face paint, right

J: Yeah

A: And was the hat heavy?

J: Uh really heavy, I dunno

A: Also a little known fact, the original
actor Johnny Depp played

both the Jack Sparrow and Mad Hatter

J: And he built, and he actually did that
Mad Hatter hat

A: Yeah
J: He built that

A: Yeah, crazy
J: He made that, I can't believe it

A: Okay let's see what we have next here

A: Sonic the Hedgehog
J: That, that, that thing was like amazing

A: Well let's take a look

A: All right Sonic, this is Dr. Robotnik

He's the bad guy.

Intense music

A: Whoa! That was super fast.

J: I'm Sonic

A: It's ok, I have another one.

This is Super Sonic.

He is like you but super.

Anyways, I will just play with him.

WHOA!!

J: HEHEHEHE

A: Are you gonna give me my toys back.

J: If you can catch me.

A: You're so much faster than me, kudos.

Intense music

A: Wow! You really did run really fast.

And you took those toys.
J: Yeah

A: You took all the toys
J: Yeah

A: And did you have to practice?
Did you run to get ready for that role?

Alright, let's see what we have next.
Chucky and Jason.

J: Ohhhh that. I mean you.
It's twist great.

A: Yeah, there's a little twist at the end
We wouldn't spoiler it for you.

So let's take a look.

A: Avocados

Suspension Music

A: Weird

J: Hello

Ominous Music

A: Hello?

J: Hehe

A: Wha?

J: Hehehehe

J: I'm Chucky!

A: What?

J: (deep voice)My name is Chucky.

J: (whisper) I am Chucky

Horror music

A: Is somebody there?

Hello?

Screaming noises

J: I'm Chucky

J: WHOA!

A: I'm Jason

A: What movie do you wanna watch?

J: The new Chunky movie.

A: Ok, cool.

By the way, I thought that was cool
how you turn into the doll.

And then, now, you're not the doll.
I don't know how to do that.

A: Wow, that twist.

J: Wow, they were watching.....

A: Goes to tell you that most movies
have a happy ending

J: Yeah
A: no matter how creepy

the characters are.
J: (whsiper) Yeah

A: Alright, let's see what's next.
The Joker and Batman movie.

J: That movie is definitely cool!

A: Great movie.
Wanna cut the Academy Awards.

Let's take a look.

J: Hello Batman.

A: That's not me.

J: I know you're Batman!

A: No, I'm not Batman.

J: Then what's this?

A: That is just my hat.

J: Fine.

A: Ok, bye.

A: That was a close one.

J: I knew it, you are Batman.

A: Ok fine, it's me, what do you want?

J: Since you're the Batman
and I'm the Joker,

I was wondering if I can tell you a joke.

A: Ok.

J: Why does Batman always win that car?

A: I don't know.

J: Because he always gets the Joker.

A: I don't get it.

Pretty bad at jokes for being the Joker.

J: Wow, that was like so cool and so mean.

A: Yeah and you know
for those moms at home

watching these movie reviews.
They really do save you a lot of time.

I believe that clip was about 1-2 minutes.

The movie, The Dark Night, with the
Joker and Batman is like 2-3 hours long.

J: And I got something,
I learned a new laugh.

A: Let's hear it.

J: (evil laugh)

A: Good job. High five.

Alright, moving on.
J: I know this one.

A: Which one?
J: Zombie

J: (Zombie groans)

A: How did you know
how to act as a zombie in this role.

J: I don't know
how I did that pretty deep voice.

A: Scary, very scary.

J: Wow, I was like at the window and
I just keep doing.

A: Yeah, when the zombie got to the window
that's just powerful writing.

J: And my eyes were glowing.
A: Yeah, your eyes were glowing.

Great CGI effects.
This next one is Guardians of the Galaxy.

J: Dude I didn't like him, I was so rude.

A: Yeah, you have that
clashing of characters.

J: Dude, this is the funniest.

A: Let's take a look.

J: They Groot, wanna have some fun?

A: I am Groot.

J: Come one, let's go!
(Firing noises)

A: I am Groot.

J: Aww, nevermind.
I'm early, I'ma go by myself.

A: I am Groot.
(Firing noise)

J: I hit you, boop.

A: I am Groot.

J: I am going by myself, Groot!

A: Wait for me. I am Groot. (repeats)

J: Wha!

A: No no no. Get back on the chair.

Again with the clashing of characters that
we see too often in featured length films.

J: That was amazing.
Like the ending is so funny.

A: Yeah, hilarious.
J: All he says is........

So in the end, he talks.
He doesn't say, Groot Groot.

A: Yeah, he goes beyond his
vocal restrictions.

Ok, next one, we have Petter Rabit but
we used a squirrel.

Unfortunately, with the production budget
that we have at this point, we couldn't

afford an actual rabbit, but we did
manage to find something quite similar.

Let's take a look.

A: Why don't you like pepperoni pizza?

Squirrel: I don't like pizza.

J: Why don't you like pepperoni pizza?

Squirrel: I just like nuts.

J: Nuts?! Nuts are gross.

Squirrel: Pizza is gross. I want nuts.

J: Pepperoni pizza is way better.

Squirrel: Eww, pepperoni, that's gross.

J: We don't have any nuts,
but I can get you pepperoni pizza.

Squirrel: Just give me nuts.

J: Ok, I'm going to get you some nuts.

A: Ok, let's go.

J: Ok, close your eyes.

Squirrel: What are we doing?

[inaudible eating]

J: Ok, let's go get some pepperoni pizza.

A: Ok, let's go.

Squirrel: Thank you!

A: I think the squirrel worked.
J: Yeah

A: Right, I mean squirrels, rabbits.

J: [inaudible mumbbling}

A: Alright mom that's it for
