Today’s show was inspired by a blog post by Seth Godin titled “What Does Your Brand Stand For?” It’s a provocative question and probably one that most of us don’t give a lot of thought to…until someone asks the question. So I’m asking now – What does your brand communicate to the public? Does it truly stand out from the competition? When someone is asked about your company or you personally, what are they saying…and is it what do you want them to be saying?
Let’s explore this topic in terms of social media as well as other forms of marketing online and offline. What are the specific things you should be analyzing? And what are the specific steps you can take to make sure your Word of Mouth Marketing is working for you and not against you.
