Overcoming language barriers is an incredibly important but often neglected hurdle in working with and helping others. Aimee Ansari uses examples of her work with Translators Without Borders to demonstrate the importance of communication.

Aimee Ansari is CEO of Translators Without Borders, and has worked in several humanitarian crises from the Tajik civil war to the earthquake in Haiti, the conflicts in the Balkans to the Syrian refugee crisis and the conflict in South Sudan.
