陳慧翎回想起多年前在雲南家徒四壁的女孩家中，她猜想住在鄉村的孩子，未來夢想不外乎是離開家鄉到城市打拼吧？然而女孩卻說：「我的家鄉越來越髒了，所以我想成為一名清潔工，讓我的家鄉保持乾淨。可是老師都笑我，難道我是錯的嗎？」

在社會價值下，清潔工這份工作總是被貼上負面標籤，但是誰說沒有快樂、有理想的清潔工？當面臨生命的緊要關頭，社會中的框架與標籤是否真的很重要？

In 2002 when Weiling Chen was filiming in Yunnan, China, she encountered a local girl who spoke of her dreams of becoming a custodian. It took Weiling many years and a cancer treatment later to realize that one's sense of accomplishment should not be based on societal expectations and standards.
