Autonomous ride towards a new reality | Limmor Kfiri | TEDxTelAviv
Description:

Autonomous cars will arrive and they will affect our lives in so many ways and disciplines that go far beyond commuting. In fact they already do. Limmor Kfiri explores the benefits of driverless cars alongside the problems and the ethical dilemmas they may create, and offer a new approach to handle this challenge.

Limmor Kfiri is a fourth-year student in the joint program for Law and Government

administration at Radzyner Law School and Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and

Strategy at IDC Herzliya. Throughout her studies, Limmor has been on the Dean's list for

academic excellence and participated in extracurricular activities, which combines technology

and law. Limmor participated in the Legal Clinic for Start-Ups, providing free legal services to

entrepreneurs and in ARTEMIS program - promoting entrepreneurship among women. In her

third year Limmor joined the Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging

Technologies and together with her collogues, has researched the regulatory and legal

challenges to self-driving cars in Israel. The findings will soon be published as book that will

compile the foundation for Israel's first bill regarding autonomous cars.
