about something that is i'm into

my world is currently revolving about this,
sooner or later this will become my second hobby

i will talk about one app
that im always using or playing lately

this app is called "VeVe"

Huh? What is VeVe?

veve is an app where you can collect NFT
but not just a random NFT

this is an official NFT, it has license from
big companies that we've already known

such as DC as in DC Comics like
Batman, Superman and their friends

Capcom like Mega Man, Monster Hunter
and their friends too

also Cartoon Network such as Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Adventure Time and all that

so if you guys are wondering
"What is he talking?" "What kind of hobby is this?"

Stick around! Because this hobby is potential to make some extra money for you..

Okay, before we dive in to the world of VeVe and NFT.

We have to know about Cryptocurrency

i am sure you guys already know about Cryptocurrency, maybe some of you

"Hmm..Cryptocurrency i've heard that before, it's the Bitcoin stuffs right?"

Yup, you're right. For all of you who don't know the Cryptocurrency world or maybe you just heard it

the word you frequently heard that can make you realize or like "Oh!" is Bitcoin

So, Bitcoin is the biggest Cryptocurrency in the world and the second one is Ethereum

and many other Cryptocurrencies,
"So what is Cryptocurrency?"

so to go to more details, we can read it from Wikipedia so you guys can know more about it

"A Cryptocurrency or Crypto is a digital asset that's designed to work as a medium of exchange-

wherein individual coin ownership or crypto records are stored or registered in a-

ledger or like a vault that exist in the cloud

So, Cryptocurrency are backed up by Cryptography,

like a serial number or a code just like Matrix

your digital assets are stored in a vault or a safe called Blockchain which only you can access-

if you have your own access or code string.

So, if you have Bitcoin then you must have the adress or access and it's only accessible for you

i hope that's clear because
that is literally only the basic explanation

because im also not an expert in Cryptocurrency

so i can only tell you the basic of it, okay

and secondly, what you must know is Blockchain
"What is Blockchain?"

just like i mentioned earlier Blockchain is like
a ledger or a vault in cloud

which is decentralized which means it's not owned by one instance-

or basically everyone can access this blockchain which usually called public

everyone can access it publicly, okay

So, basically Blockchain and Cryptocurrency are always holding hands because-

Cryptocurrencies are stored in Blockchain, okay

The third thing we must know
"What is NFT?"

"What the heck is NFT?"

NFT is Non-Fungible Token,
so it's an item or unit that can't be duplicated

if an item can be duplicated then that item is called Fungible Token or Fungible Item

Basically, there is no "Non" in the name

So, it's Fungible Item or Fungible Token,
the basic example of NFT is like this

let's say i have IDR100.000 but my friend can also have IDR100.000 with the same amount-

that he can use to exchange or trade with the same amount, so it's not unique nor limited

it's the same IDR100.000 on a paper,
that's the most basic example of Fungible Token

that's the example of Fungible Token, so it's like-

it's something that can be duplicated such as money, money can be duplicated so much

it's real money but still, i have IDR100.000 but other people can also have IDR100.000

Meanwhile, this Non-Fungible Token is something that can't be duplicated such as Monalisa

the Monalisa painting in Paris,
for people to know the authenticity

then, it must have license, data,
certificate and all that basically

People can still duplicate that but there are no certificate-

no data that says the Monalisa
that is not in Paris is authentic

so that is the example of Non-Fungible Token.

But, the NFT that im talking about is the NFT that has direct connection with Cryptocurrency-

and Blockchain, so it's an art or some item, everything can actually be made an NFT

for example it's an item or art that are registered to Blockchain which have data, license or certificate-

that's connected with the item or the art itself.
NFT is now booming, this is one of the example

The Nyan Cat

Nyan Cat here are already being made an NFT
or the term is, minted to be an NFT,

it's already registered to Blockchain,

So, we can send JPEG and IMG everywhere but it's not the original, it will always be a duplicate

because the original one is only owned by 1 person that have the certificate which registered-

to Blockchain.

Now there are many things that
can be NFT'd

that could be made an NFT

this is the craziest example,
there is one artist from US whose name is Beeple

He made a digital art or digital illustration,
a 3D art to be more exact for 500 days

and then he made a collage of it which looks like this, he made it into one picture like this

all of this is his creation,
there are 500 3D Arts in this

This is JPEG, but this JPEG is registered in Blockchain and made into an NFT

So there is only one in this world that is registered, which is registered by Beeple

This is already sold in Christie's Auction,
one of the most famous auction

This sold for $69++ Million

Why? Why did people bought this NFT which is just a JPEG with a very high price

Because of scarcity or because this is limited,
and also because there is only one item like this

"But this is only a JPEG" still, it doesn't matter. What matters is because this is limited

And it's registered to Blockchain, this is bought by someone whose alias is Metakovan

that person bought this for $69 Million

so there are many examples of NFTs like this,
you can research this by yourself

what i will tell you is something that is basic, because one of the thing that im excited about-

that i will share to you is VeVe.
