Stereotyping affects all of us. How can we act regarding this problem, so people stop having wrong perception and ideas? Why should we face stereotypes and try to correct the wrong image people have about us?

Nour was born in Syria in 1991. He survived the war in his country and that event changed the course of his life. First he moved to Lebanon, then to Turkey and, in 2014, he came to Portugal to study Architecture, as a part of a group of students with grants from the Global Platform of Academic Assistance to Syrian Students. Since then, Nour has been a speaker at various conferences in Portugal and other European countries where he lends his voice to people who weren’t as lucky as he was, favoring dialogue between cultures and religions. He was also a speaker at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and represented the European Youth Forum in Brussels.
