The deaf cannot hear, but they can listen; too often it’s the hearing that don't listen. Hanelle Fourie explains how her idea can help the hearing understand the deaf better.  

Hanelle Fourie is a lexicographer, and language enthusiast. She has devoted her life to developing an electronic dictionary for the South African sign language. If successfully developed, this tool will help the deaf, hearing impaired, as well as those who can hear, to learn and understand sign language better.
