TEDxSeoul - Yujin Lee - Open Dubbing Project(ODP)

She is an organizer at TEDxSeoul and also the co-author of 'Everyone's Invited'. She attended TEDActive event early this year, and was impressed on the speech from Ze Frank that the answer for the slogan of TED2010, "What the world needs now?", is "the world needs ME but with an ACTION!". She decided to be an 'Activist' who makes positive changes and participates voluntarily. With help from members of TEDxSeoul, she started the project called ODP which stands for "Open Dubbing Project". Through ODP, she believes worthy ideas must be spreaded by shifting talks from 'watching' to 'listening' by translation. She hopes to see this happening in countries other than Korea in the form of OTP, Open Translation Project.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self- organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
