Michael Jackson and his Love for Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

In 1992, Michael Jackson's Heal the World foundation worked closely with AmeriCares to provide 47 tons of medical supplies and winter clothes for the children of Sarajevo. Michael Jackson himself turned up at Kennedy Airport in New York to watch the loading. This very short video features a part of his speech.

Sarajevo has become a symbol
of so much that is tragic,

but avoidable in our world.

Prejudice and ethnic hatred,

the destruction of the environment,

the shattering of families

and of centuries-old communities.
