Seina: If we talked about our relationship, it would take way too long.

RINA: I'll be introducing my good friend and talking about a bunch of things.

RINA: When did we first meet each other?

Seina: 4-5 years ago, maybe?

RINA: Originally, Seina-chan worked at a vintage shop.

RINA: I liked that shop and they let me buy things online.

RINA: Seina-chan would post videos on that shop's Instagram.

RINA: I really liked the atmosphere of them.

RINA: In the beginning,

RINA: I asked the shop specifically for Seina-chan to pick out stuff for me.

Seina: I remember that very clearly (lol)

RINA: Like, "A weird customer's showed up"?

Seina: I was simply happy.

Seina: You ordered a lot of frames—eight of them...

Seina: You were like, "I want you to choose them!"

Seina: Something crazy happened after that...

RINA: That shop was in Osaka...

Seina: That was the Osaka location.

RINA: When I went to a shop by the same company in Tokyo,

RINA: The woman standing by the register

RINA: Was someone who went to the same dance school at the same time as me.

RINA: I talked to her only a little bit when we were in school.

RINA: We were like, "Eh!?" It was a reunion.

RINA: And that employee and Seina-chan,

RINA: They were of course friends.

RINA: I was talking about how Seina-chan has such great taste,

RINA: And she was like, "I'll introduce her to you next time!"

RINA: And so the three of us became really good friends.

RINA: Then, I started to contact Seina-chan personally.

RINA: We really do have the same interests,

RINA: And we like the atmosphere and culture of places like Europe and Paris.

RINA: That was also something we had in common.

RINA: So we were like, "Let's go on an overseas trip together."

RINA: The first time we traveled together

RINA: Was when we went to Los Angeles.

Seina: Every day, before we first met each other...we were like of like boyfriend/girlfriend.

Seina: We'd talk to each other every day,

Seina: And then the first time we met was when I visited Tokyo.

Seina: I got to see her perform live.

RINA: That was when we played at one of the Zepp venues, right? I'm sure of it.

Seina: Zepp Tokyo.

Seina: Seeing her perform live was my first time seeing her in person.

Seina: I thought she belonged to a world unknown to me,

Seina: But I was also really moved,

Seina: And I was like, "Is this really who I've been texting with?"

RINA: Was there a gap between how I sound in text? (lol)

Seina: Yeah, totally (lol)

Seina: I met you in the dressing room right after, and I was of course nervous.

RINA: That's true; if you see someone for the first time while they're on stage...

Seina: This was a little different from how I had met people before this.

Seina: I felt grateful.

RINA: Nah~

Seina: You were someone who shined on stage...

RINA: It must feel strange.

Seina: You told me things like how you looked at my Instagram, and asked me to hang out.

Seina: It made me happy.

Seina: Right after that we went abroad to LA.

Seina: I was like, "What's going on?" (lol)

RINA: We were together for quite a bit.

RINA: We both liked vintage things,

RINA: So we went around to vintage shops all day.

RINA: We went around to so many shops every day that we had no strength left.

RINA: When we went home, our suitcases were full of clothes we bought.

RINA: That's so nostalgic (lol)

Seina: We made sure to have fun on that trip (lol)

RINA: That was awesome.

Seina: After that we hung out regularly, and we also went to Paris.

RINA: We did go to Paris.

RINA: I made a style book, and at that time,

RINA: I also wanted to do a page where I'd be styled by people I like.

RINA: The rest of the book featured all of my own clothing,

RINA: But for the styling page Seina-chan helped out,

RINA: I had her put together a really cute outfit that I wouldn't have been able to put together myself.

Seina: That's so nostalgic.

RINA: You brought accessories too.

RINA: That was fun too.

Seina: I also gave advice.

Seina: You were also someone who was a huge turning point in my life.

RINA: That makes me so happy to hear!

RINA: You originally lived in Wakayama Prefecture,

RINA: And when you moved to Tokyo you contacted me,

RINA: And you were unsure of moving here.

RINA: I remember that clearly.

RINA: I was in the middle of a tour then.

Seina: Ah, really?

RINA: You texted me asking if you could call me for advice,

RINA: I was like, "What should I do?"

RINA: I called you from a hotel we were at before the tour started.

Seina: Seriously? (lol)

RINA: You asked me what you should do about moving to Tokyo.

RINA: What you wanted to do was very clear,

RINA: And since it'd be easier to do your work in Tokyo,

RINA: We talked about how it'd definitely be better if you came to Tokyo.

Seina: I'm doing now because I'm here.

RINA: Yeah, certainly.

RINA: It'd be best for you to have a place to work at right after moving here,

RINA: Which is something you talked about with me too,

RINA: So since I have an apparel brand,

RINA: I asked her if she'd like to work at its shop.

Seina: I helped out at the FEEDBACK shop.

RINA: Also, besides having the same likes,

RINA: We both had the same home environments and the desire to contribute to our company.

RINA: We wanted to start some kind of project together,

RINA: One that could provide support to women or people who need help.

RINA: We've recently been talking about doing a project like that,

RINA: And now we're getting to start that project.

Seina: We've been wondering for several years when we could do this together.

Seina: We really got to know each other,

Seina: And that we had similar home environments.

Seina: Then COVID-19 happened

Seina: And we were really frustrated.

Seina: We were wondering if there was anything we could do right now,

Seina: And we were like, "How about making that project a charity?"

Seina: We're just not making "collaborative" items.

Seina: It made me happy that we both had the same feelings about it because it's for charity.

Seina: It's not about simply making things.

Seina: We decided to make these collab items after first wanting to do some charity and help people out,

Seina: So of course we're also thinking of good products we could do right now.

Seina: It'd make us happy if people understood our feelings,

Seina: And if there's an increase in people who turn their attention to things like this.

Seina: We're conveying to all kinds of people that working together rather than alone,

Seina: And also understanding each other are bigger than just the two of us.

RINA: We don't think that what we're doing will make things bigger and better,

RINA: And that everything will be solved.

RINA: However, by starting to dispatch things and continuing to do so,

RINA: It could be a chance for people who weren't aware of things like that to consider them.

RINA: We really hope it'll turn out to be something like that.

RINA: It makes sense to start now.

RINA: I was raised in a fatherless family,

RINA: And Seina-chan was also in same situation.

RINA: That's the kind of situation we grew up in,

RINA: And that's where our consciousnesses were heading to right now.

RINA: We wanted to do something about that.

RINA: It feels like things are finally starting to move.

Seina: That's true.

Seina: Understanding that setting up a charity is something you want to do and then doing it,

Seina: And that's something that someone who feels like that and can afford to do so can do.

Seina: It's great to see someone like that taking action.

Seina: You don't have to be that kind of person who thinks they only have to do that once.

Seina: If there are even just a few people that can be helped,

Seina: I'd want it to reach people who are in the similar situations and feel the same.

Seina: If you bring yourself closer to someone who does even more amazing things,

Seina: Then it makes you want to grow too.

RINA: That's definitely true.

RINA: I hope we're able to continue doing this.

Seina: We're currently in highly-antipated production.

RINA: Highly-anticipated.

RINA: We were just sent a proposed logo.

RINA: What should we do about that?

Seina: I can't wait.

RINA: We also explained the purpose of the project to our designer.

RINA: On top of taking our feelings into consideration,

RINA: We had them draw up the design.

RINA: They sent us three proposals.

RINA: All of them are really good.

Seina: When should we announce the name of the project?

RINA: I'll announce it around the time that I release this video.

Seina: Ah, I see (lol)

RINA: I like the first [design].

RINA: The designer also left some comments.

RINA: Rather than wanting to make something cute and girly,

RINA: There should be a little more power in the intention of what you want to do.

RINA: My feelings follow those comments exactly.

RINA: 1 or 2 is easy for men to wear, and it's easy for all kinds of people to wear it regardless of gender.

Seina: It's also really easy to understand at first glance.

RINA: Also, it's important to keep doing something,

RINA: Like continuing to say something.
