Future Mobile is About the Internet of Things

Just when I thought I was beginning to understand the scope and power of mobile marketing, I realized that I had not even scratched the surface. Thanks to my monthly guest, Peggy Anne Salz and the wisdom of Linda Daichendt, today’s show is going to set the record straight for all of us.

With my new format of two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), Peggy will be with me the first Tuesday of every month. She is the chief analyst and founder of MobileGroove. Her report, Mobile Search and Content Discovery, was regarded as the first in-depth study of its kind, establishing her as an authority on mobile search and content discovery technologies. Her most recent series of practical how-to papers covers the basics of mobile advertising and mobile analytics, earning her a reputation as a leading mobile marketing and advertising expert. She is also the author of The Everything Guide to Mobile Apps.

Linda Daichendt is the Executive Director of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM) and a Co-founder of Mobile Monday Michigan. She is an accomplished marketer and award-winning blogger, and one of Michigan’s leading proponents of the use of mobile technologies for businesses of all sizes – and in all verticals. She is a recognized business expert with 20+ years of corporate, small business and franchising experience.

Todays show focuses on the complexities and opportunities in the world of mobile. We’ll be discussing how Linda is revolutionizing the way business is done and government communicates in the State of Michigan. Through MTAM, Michigan has become a model for other states and associations to bring innovation to the market in a comprehensive, accessible and highly profitable way.
