-
Hey Everyone!
-
I wanted to make this quick video
-
as a sort of 'Welcome to my channel'.
-
I know that many of you have landed here
-
because I did a collaboration recently
-
with Kayli, the 'HeyKayli' channel.
-
Kayli Butler.
-
And it was just amazing.
-
And there will be more videos
-
coming out with that
-
and she has said that she might even
-
come on my channel so
-
lets hope that we can work that out.
-
And I wanted to just
-
give you a rundown of
-
what it is I do here.
-
So, my name is Kati Morton,
-
and I'm a marriage and family therapist intern.
-
And I specialise in eating disorders,
-
and self-harm work but
-
I'm just a therapist.
-
And I see people of all types.
-
I see couples.
-
I see people struggling with depression,
-
anxiety, bi-polar disorder, OCD,
-
I mean, you name it - I've worked with it.
-
I've even worked in the hospital setting
-
at a much higher level of care.
-
And, yeah, so that's just a little bit about me.
-
And the way that I usually work my channel
-
is you can comment below.
-
You can leave whatever questions and
-
comments you want.
-
And you can leave them below
-
and I will get to them as quickly as I can.
-
Usually a day or two.
-
And I try to keep up with the last
-
3 or 4 videos.
-
Because now I have about 100 videos
-
and it becomes really difficult
-
for me to go all the way back
-
through each one to approve comments,
-
and comment back.
-
It takes me hours and hours and hours.
-
So now i'm doing it so the most recent
-
I will keep up with.
-
So if you have questions you can ask me this way.
-
I'm also on twitter.
-
I'm on tumblr.
-
I have a website - katimorton.com
-
And if you haven't checked it out
-
I'd hop on there and take a look
-
because you can post yourself.
-
You can use it as your own blog
-
where you share whats going on.
-
You can get feedback from others.
-
You can also ask me questions and do
-
like, a 'Dear Kati' blog.
-
And there's also a free workbook.
-
So if you're struggling
-
the workbook that's on there is
-
definitely focussed towards eating disorders
-
but it's something that I would
-
take a look at.
-
Download it. Check it out.
-
It's there, it's free.
-
It's easy to use. There are videos
-
attached in there.
-
So it's kind of just a little extra bit of information.
-
So I would definitely hop on there
-
and check that out.
-
And don't forget to subscribe to my channel
-
because I post videos every monday.
-
And for some of you if you're in a
-
different timezone it might be
-
a little different but I try
-
to get them out every monday
-
no matter where you are.
-
And sometimes I post videos in the
-
middle of the week.
-
And I've been trying to do more vlogging
-
and get onboard with that
-
because like i've told you guys before
-
I'm busy and sometimes it's easy
-
if i'm in the car or heading somewhere
-
I can just shoot a quick video.
-
And, I'm trying to think if there's anything else.
-
Twitter is probably one of the easiest
-
ways to get a hold of me because
-
I can check that during the day
-
on my phone really quick
-
between sessions and when I'm running,
-
doing errands or whatever.
-
So if you have something really urgent
-
thats probably the best way
-
to get a hold of me.
-
And we will continue working together.
-
I'm so happy that you're here.
-
Our community is growing.
-
Everybody on here is so lovely
-
and helpful and as always
-
leave comments below.
-
Leave helpful hints.
-
What's helping you,
-
what's working for you.
-
If you have depression or anxiety
-
or an eating disorder
-
or you self-harm or
-
whatever it may be,
-
is there some tips or tricks
-
or if you have questions and concerns
-
that you want some help with.
-
Let us know.
-
Thats what we're here for.
-
And we're all working together
-
towards a healthy mind
-
and a healthy body.
