There are very few tutorials showing how to use PHP in Adobe Muse, (really running php code, not just iframes) and the videos that *do* I've found are overly complex. Truly, turning HTML to PHP is not that difficult.
Watch my video if you wish to use PHP in Adobe Muse files without all the hassle.
As explained in the video, paste this code into your .htaccess file for simple implementation of PHP in your Adobe Muse projects
AddType text/html .html .php
AddHandler server-parsed .html .php
# Uncomment the version of PHP you have on your server
# Only one of the following can be uncommented
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html .php
#AddHandler application/x-httpd-php52 .html .php
#AddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .html .php
#AddHandler application/x-httpd-php4 .html .php
