I’m Caitlin Terry. I graduated in 2018.

I also go to Beacon Academy

I came in at 4th grade at Chiaravalle,
and like Teagan said,

it’s really a place to be happy,
but also to learn

I can make connections that I would not
have been necessarily taught

and then be able to go back and think,

“Oh, those two things are connected
and I remember that.”

I was in math at Chiaravalle.

I was trying to do three years of math
in two years of actual school,

which was really hard.

But when I went to Beacon,

I was able to make a really strong
relationship with my math teacher,

because he knew it was difficult to be in
this math group as a Freshman.

Chiaravalle really let me thrive as an individual.

Because even as a 6th grader,

I was like trying to learn things that
other kids weren’t really interested in

and it was just a way for me to grow.
