On December 16 2013 the Volumetric Society of NYC hosted New York EEG researchers/Parsons instructors Joel Murphy and Conor Russomanno presenting OpenBCI, An Opensource Brain Computer Initiative at Culture Lab NYC. OpenBCI is a low-cost, Arduino-compatible, open-source EEG platform that gives anybody with a computer access to the electrical signals emitted by their brain. The second version of the device is the subject of a current kickstarter campaign. The project is also supported by DARPA. The presentation includes a demo.
