Actionable Compassion: Human Trafficking in Nepal, Cecilia Mo | STAN 2011

May 21, 2011 - Inspired by the people she meets in Nepal, Cecilia Mo describes an interdisciplinary approach toward understanding solutions to human trafficking. Mo is a Ph.D. candidate in political economics at Stanford University and a Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellow.

STAN: Society, Technology, Art and Nature, was Stanford University's prototype conference for TEDxStanford, and showcased some of the university's top faculty, students, alumni and performers in an intense four-hour event laced with surprising appearances and memorable experiences.
