[Interview with a new member]

My name is Shohei Matsuzaki.

I work as an actor and model
and live in Taiwan.

[REASONS FOR LIVING IN TAIWAN]
At first I wanted to come to Taiwan

because I like Taiwanese movies.

So I figured I'd just go for it.

But I couldn't communicate...
Since I can't speak Chinese

which I realized after I arrived.

So even if I could play a Japanese guy,

I wouldn't be able to
understand the directions.

So I decided, while learning
Chinese from friends,

I would do modeling instead in Taiwan.

[ABOUT BEING AN ACTOR]
I've been doing it since college.

In college, I would create
and act in movies.

Then after I graduated,
I started working as an actor.

And have been since then.

I didn't really achieve anything
while living in Japan.

Well, in saying that,

I do a disservice to everyone
who's had me act in their movies.

No, I didn't not achieve anything,

but I wasn't living off of acting solely.

My main source of income
was my part time job.

But then I got auditions and
was able to appear in a movie.

I didn't really have a clear reason for going.

Right now, there's not any
particular thing

that's driving me to move in.

It just seems like it would be fun.

And summer is coming in Japan,
which sounds nice.

Something like that. Yeah.

[WHAT TYPE OF GIRL DO YOU LIKE?]
I like strong girls.

Girls who pursue the things they
want to do and put them into practice.

Not really girls who wait around for
things to happen to them.

Of course, if I find a girl I really like,

I think I'll only have eyes for her.

But to fall for someone that quickly...

I mean yeah, I could see that happening.

But I haven't even met any of them yet.

First of all,

I want to get to know everyone well.

[YOUR DREAM FOR THE FUTURE]
My future dream is...

I want to be living somewhere
I want to live.

And if I ever think...

"I want to do that!", I want to be
able to have the strength to

immediately pick myself up
and pursue that thing.

It's hard to say what
that would be for sure.

But right now I'm enjoying
working in movies.

And I'm learning a lot.

Well, learning sounds a little formal.

More like I'm discovering
things that interest me.

It would be nice if I could fully
support myself with a job like this.
