Since I've been posting a lot of vlogs recently,

today, while drinking Starbucks,

I'll be chatting with you guys.

On Instagram I asked for any questions you may have,

so I'll be answering those while chatting to the camera.

We have a podcast called "Catch up,"

which is on Spotify,

and I just got back from recording for it.

The sun's setting right now,

and the sun's entering the frame at perfect timing.

It's really bright.

All right.

Let's answer questions.

"Q. What country or area would you like to visit on vacation in the future?"

I wonder? On vacation...

I've been watching a Thai drama recently on Netflix.

It's called "Girl From Nowhere."

It's kind of...

scary.

Anyone watching it?

It's "Tales of the Unusual"-like and is really interesting.

I really like mysteries that are a bit scary.

I've been to Thailand to play concerts,

but since I haven't gone there on vacation,

I'd like to do so.

I'm addicted to Thai stuff right now.

There's a female interpreter in Thailand that I'm good friends with.

I'd like to go and have some fun.

Okay.

"Q. Do you read fan letters?"

I do!

I bring all of them with me back home and read them.

"Q. Where would you like to live in the future?"

I've really started to want to live in the Kansai region.

My hometowns are Osaka and Nara,

and I'd really like to live for a few months somewhere like Osaka, Kyoto, or Nara.

I love Kansai.

"Q. I've started thinking about marrying my current boyfriend. How does one decide to get married?"

Ehー, that's difficult.

I've never thought about it that much before.

I have no idea.

But feeling comfortable

and having a stable mentality,

I think those are very important.

Recently, in the span of one month...um...

Two different friends got married.

Yeah, I talked to them,

and it made me realize again that those things are ultimately what's important.

"Q. Although lockdowns will continue, is there anything you want to do this summer?"

I do have a few things I'm considering.

I think I'll be able to announce something soon,

and at that time I'll talk more in detail about it.

"Q. RINA, is there anything you're particular about when it comes to hairstyles?"

Right now...

I have my hair colored without using bleach,

and recently I had posted a YouTube video about how to get the same hair color.

That's how I dye my hair,

and lately I've been adding ash colors

and using purple shampoo.

I'm growing it out right now.

Also...what else?

I cut my bangs a little on the short side.

It's easy to set, so I cut them a bit short.

"Q. People in my hometown get married early, and I'm panicking since I don't have a boyfriend.

I would like to get married. I haven't met anyone decent, though..."

Aah.

There certainly are many who come from places where people get married early.

For me as well, my hometown friends and those around me are getting married.

It's like, "Ah, this would be around the right timing for that,"

but I really think it differs for each person.

You don't need to panic at all.

"Q. Do you use colored contacts?"

I don't. My eyes are bare.

"Q. Is being in love a serious or trivial thing?"

Do you mean being dependent?

I don't think so at all.

I'm the type that doesn't think so at all.

Like...

That's fundamentally the basis of our band.

We don't know what'll happen in the future,

but the basis of the band...

is to each have fun, and at the same time,

if we have someone we love,

that adds even more fun to things.

I like that view on love.

"Q. I'm now in college but don't really know how to get closer to others.

Sometimes I suddenly want to be alone, even when I'm with friends.

RINA, what would you do during those times?"

When I was a student, there were definitely times when I was alone.

I was that type of person.

I could totally have fun if I was invited out,

but there were times when I preferred being alone,

and also times when I'd naturally end up on my own.

Maybe I didn't really mind it.

In my second year of high school, I transferred from an all-girls' school in Osaka to a high school in Tokyo.

I attended those schools for half of that year each.

You often hear about how high school friends stay close even after growing up,

but that didn't really happen for me.

Like, I didn't have many friends...is what I thought.

Like...

It kind of worried me.

Like, I didn't have anyone I could talk about anything with.

That's what I thought,

but when I was going to school in Osaka...

There's an artist named Yayoi Daimon who's currently debuting in the hip-hop scene,

and she was in the same class as me.

As of very recently,

we've started hanging out in our free time.

Reuniting with someone after you've both grown up is a great thing.

So...

When you want to be alone,

I think it's totally fine to be alone.

"Q. Ways to raise your self-esteem?"

If you compare yourself to others and find there's something you lack or are less good at,

it makes you feel bad, right?

But's it not about what you can't do--

it's about what you can do.

"Q. Is it important to live your life looking ahead three years?"

It's tiring to constantly just think about the future,

and it sucks.

Hmm, yeah...

When I'm writing songs,

for some reason...

I start thinking about whether we can keep doing this in three or five more years.

We've recently started to write our own songs,

and since the four of us want to be in this band for as long as we can,

we want to start making songs with all kinds of tempos, all kinds of melodies, music with all kinds of feelings.

So, there are parts of me that also think ahead,

and parts that can only think of right now.

I think it's also really important to enjoy the present.

"Q. When starting something, and when you have to keep that going, do you feel uneasy?"

When you start new things as an adult,

you're more level-headed than when you're a kid,

so you do feel uneasy and maybe aren't sure if you can keep doing it.

But as for me, I'm the type that goes for it.

I think it'd be good each time to think about how to continue something

while changing the shape of it so as not to make things tough for you at that time.

I haven't drank this at all.

For some reason there were a lot of love-related comments this time.

I think I'll narrow down topics next time.

It sounds interesting.
