Dear Pastors And Leaders - Let Us Help You - Let's see an awakening like never before!

  • 0:02 - 0:04
    The Call of Jesus
  • 0:05 - 0:11
Welcome to this lesson 25 called
    "Dear Pastors and Leaders".
  • 0:11 - 0:14
In this video series and also
    in my book here
  • 0:14 - 0:17
I have dedicated a whole chapter,
    a whole video
  • 0:18 - 0:21
to you who are pastors and leaders
    out there.
  • 0:21 - 0:25
And I want to welcome you,
pastors and leaders, to this video,
  • 0:25 - 0:27
because I want to talk to you.
  • 0:27 - 0:29
I want to share my heart to you.
  • 0:29 - 0:35
First, I want to say that we, as leaders,
    we have a responsibility.
  • 0:35 - 0:39
    And our main responsibility,
when it comes to the church,
  • 0:39 - 0:43
    is to teach people
    what Jesus has commanded.
  • 0:43 - 0:48
We, as leaders, need to teach
    what Jesus has commanded.
  • 0:48 - 0:50
    Everything He has commanded.
  • 0:50 - 0:53
    Including what we see here
    in Luke 10.
  • 0:54 - 0:55
If you are a pastor or leader
    of a church,
  • 0:55 - 0:59
and you have been teaching, teaching
    teaching, teaching, Sunday after Sunday,
  • 0:59 - 1:04
but have not, at one point,
    been in Luke 10,
  • 1:04 - 1:06
    then something is missing.
  • 1:06 - 1:09
We need to teach Jesus' words.
  • 1:09 - 1:13
    And remember what I said
in the beginning of this video series,
  • 1:13 - 1:16
    that there was the church,
    mission and Christ,
  • 1:16 - 1:22
but this is how many look at it:
church first, mission second and Christ later.
  • 1:22 - 1:25
But we need to start with Jesus.
  • 1:25 - 1:28
We need to start with who
    Christ is,
  • 1:28 - 1:31
    what Christ has commanded us
    to do,
  • 1:31 - 1:35
and how we then do mission
the way He has commanded us to do,
  • 1:35 - 1:38
    and then, in the end,
    we end up with church.
  • 1:39 - 1:43
I also want to remind you, who are pastors
and leaders out there, in the church,
  • 1:43 - 1:48
that the people in the church
    do not belong to you.
  • 1:49 - 1:50
    They don't belong to me.
  • 1:50 - 1:52
    They don't belong to us.
  • 1:52 - 1:58
I'm sad that I need to say that,
but it's so easy for us, as leaders,
  • 1:58 - 2:00
    to come into a mindset
    where we think
  • 2:00 - 2:05
that those people in the church,
    somehow, belong to us.
  • 2:05 - 2:06
    But they don't.
  • 2:06 - 2:11
And we need to always remember
that and remind ourselves of that,
  • 2:11 - 2:16
    that everyone with us,
    they themselves are called,
  • 2:16 - 2:24
not only we are called, but they are
all called to do ministry and to obey Jesus.
  • 2:24 - 2:28
    And our job as leaders
is not to do ministry for them.
  • 2:28 - 2:33
Our job, as leaders, is to equip them
and help them and then send them out,
  • 2:33 - 2:37
so they can go out and
    do ministry themselves.
  • 2:38 - 2:41
And I know it's not easy.
And I could imagine that some of you,
  • 2:41 - 2:45
who have been reading this book,
who have been seeing this video series,
  • 2:45 - 2:51
some of the things I'm saying here
    are challenging you a lot.
  • 2:51 - 2:56
Yeah, Torben, but, what if those people
just take it and go out,
  • 2:56 - 2:59
and find a person of peace, and leave,
and start to do meeting there,
  • 2:59 - 3:02
and we somehow cannot control it,
  • 3:02 - 3:05
what if they are not ready for it,
    what if they go wrong?
  • 3:05 - 3:10
I know many of you are fighting
    with many questions.
  • 3:10 - 3:14
I know many of you are fighting
with some of the things I'm saying.
  • 3:14 - 3:18
    How do I know that?
    Because I've been there myself.
  • 3:18 - 3:20
    I've been fighting with many
    of the same questions,
  • 3:20 - 3:25
because I come to you as somebody
who have been leader in church for years,
  • 3:25 - 3:27
    who have been a pastor.
  • 3:27 - 3:30
    And I've been fighting with
    many of those questions.
  • 3:30 - 3:33
And also when I start to look
    at Jesus' words
  • 3:33 - 3:35
and things I've been teaching here,
    I was like:
  • 3:35 - 3:38
Oh no, I don't want people to go crazy,
    and anarchy.
  • 3:38 - 3:40
    I want holy people.
  • 3:40 - 3:43
I don't want people just to go astray,
    this way.
  • 3:43 - 3:46
    And I felt that responsibility.
  • 3:46 - 3:50
But I also just want to say now,
now we have been doing this for years,
  • 3:50 - 3:52
    and there is good fruit.
  • 3:52 - 3:55
There is very, very good fruit.
  • 3:56 - 3:59
And I want to say, one of the things,
    many years ago,
  • 4:00 - 4:04
there was a guy, he asked me about
    the whole thing with control,
  • 4:04 - 4:10
    because I was controlling.
I think that is an issue for many out there,
  • 4:10 - 4:13
because it's so easy, without knowing it,
    that we come into control,
  • 4:13 - 4:15
we think those sheep are our sheep.
  • 4:15 - 4:20
And we control them in a way,
instead of training and letting go.
  • 4:20 - 4:24
And I remember a friend who asked me:
  • 4:24 - 4:26
    Torben, what is the job
    of the Holy Spirit?
  • 4:28 - 4:32
And I said: That is to remind people
of sin, and righteousness, and judgment,
  • 4:32 - 4:34
and remind people of Jesus' words,
    and so on.
  • 4:34 - 4:37
    He said: Torben,
how good is the Holy Spirit in that?
  • 4:37 - 4:40
And I said: He is good.
The Holy Spirit is really good.
  • 4:40 - 4:41
How good is the Holy Spirit?
  • 4:41 - 4:44
    He is really, really good.
  • 4:44 - 4:47
"How do you and the Holy Spirit do it?",
    he asked me.
  • 4:48 - 4:48
    What?
  • 4:48 - 4:50
How do you and the Holy Spirit do it?
  • 4:50 - 4:53
Do you 60% of the work
    and He does the 40%,
  • 4:53 - 4:56
or do you do 40% and He does 60%?
  • 4:56 - 4:59
When me asked me that question
I did not know what to answer.
  • 4:59 - 5:03
And he asked me another question:
Torben, who is the best leader on earth?
  • 5:03 - 5:06
    I said: Jesus Christ.
  • 5:06 - 5:08
Yes, if Jesus Christ was the best
    leader on earth,
  • 5:08 - 5:14
and He told His disciples that the best
thing He could do is to leave them,
  • 5:14 - 5:16
leave them over to the Holy Spirit,
  • 5:16 - 5:19
why do you then think you are
    so important?
  • 5:19 - 5:22
And he asked me those questions.
  • 5:23 - 5:28
When he asked me those questions
it started to challenge me, because...
  • 5:28 - 5:30
    I was afraid.
I was afraid to let go.
  • 5:30 - 5:35
I was afraid to just encourage people
    to run with it,
  • 5:35 - 5:38
because what if they go wrong
and what if this, if that?
  • 5:38 - 5:42
I had a lot of control issues and
I had a lot of fear.
  • 5:43 - 5:46
    But he was right.
    And today I see it.
  • 5:46 - 5:51
I see that the Holy Spirit is able,
    He is more than able.
  • 5:51 - 5:53
    Jesus is more than able.
  • 5:53 - 5:57
And the fruit we see is not only
in many people. We see quality.
  • 5:57 - 6:00
We see people follow Christ and
    become disciples.
  • 6:00 - 6:03
So I want to encourage you,
    by saying the same:
  • 6:03 - 6:06
What is the job of the Holy Spirit?
  • 6:06 - 6:09
You are not called to build the church.
  • 6:09 - 6:13
You are called to make disciples
and Jesus will build the church.
  • 6:15 - 6:18
That guy asked me some question
at the same time. He said:
  • 6:19 - 6:21
    Torben, what do you want?
  • 6:21 - 6:24
Do you want a church with
    1000 people in it
  • 6:24 - 6:29
or do you want 1000 churches
    with 10 people in each?
  • 6:29 - 6:33
And when he asked me that question
I'm like... one church with 1000 is 1000.
  • 6:33 - 6:37
    1000 churches with 10 is 10.000.
Of course I want 10.000 then.
  • 6:38 - 6:41
    And then he said:
    Torben, what do you want?
  • 6:41 - 6:44
Do you want a church with 1000 people
  • 6:44 - 6:48
or do you want to see a movement
    that is changing the world?
  • 6:49 - 6:53
That guy who asked me that years ago,
it was maybe, I don't know,
  • 6:53 - 6:57
that is 12 years ago maybe, long time ago,
    I don't remember right now.
  • 6:57 - 7:00
    But it's some years ago,
    before the "Last Reformation",
  • 7:00 - 7:03
before everything we are standing in now.
  • 7:03 - 7:05
    What do I want?
  • 7:05 - 7:07
Do I want a church with 1000 members
  • 7:07 - 7:11
or do I want a movement
    that is changing the world?
  • 7:11 - 7:13
    And that made me think,
  • 7:13 - 7:17
not of what I had, but what do I want,
  • 7:17 - 7:19
what does God want to do.
  • 7:19 - 7:23
Not what I have, but what does God
    want to do.
  • 7:23 - 7:26
    And I said: Yes.
    Yes, I want it.
  • 7:26 - 7:29
I want to see a movement
    that is changing the world.
  • 7:29 - 7:32
    It's not about TLR.
    It's about the people.
  • 7:32 - 7:34
It's about the Kingdom of God.
  • 7:34 - 7:38
    And I said:
Yes, I want it, and I went this way.
  • 7:38 - 7:43
And I have paid a high, high price
to see what we are seeing now.
  • 7:43 - 7:46
    And I still do.
I still pay a high price.
  • 7:47 - 7:52
But I want to say: I really,
really, really love the fruit I'm seeing.
  • 7:53 - 7:58
I love the freedom I'm experiencing,
because even now I'm part of something
  • 7:58 - 8:01
    that is much bigger than
    when I had the church.
  • 8:01 - 8:04
I experience so much more freedom now
  • 8:04 - 8:07
than when I was a pastor
and tried to run the church.
  • 8:07 - 8:11
I feel free now because it's not
my kingdom, it's not my vision.
  • 8:11 - 8:14
It's just the call of Jesus
    and what He is doing.
  • 8:14 - 8:18
And I see how the Holy Spirit is working.
  • 8:18 - 8:23
    So, the freedom is amazing
    and the fruit is amazing.
  • 8:23 - 8:27
I'd like to talk to you,
    pastors and leaders out there.
  • 8:28 - 8:30
    I know you love Jesus.
  • 8:30 - 8:33
I know you do everything you do
for the sake of the people,
  • 8:33 - 8:35
    for the sake of God,
for the sake of the Kingdom.
  • 8:35 - 8:40
This is what I believe you do,
    that should be our heart.
  • 8:40 - 8:45
But I'd still like to ask you
the same question that guy asked me:
  • 8:45 - 8:48
    What do you really want
    in your life?
  • 8:48 - 8:50
Or, what has God called you to do?
  • 8:50 - 8:55
Do you want a church with 100 people,
    1000 people,
  • 8:55 - 8:59
or do you want 100 churches,
1000 churches with 10 in each?
  • 8:59 - 9:05
Or, do you want to see a movement
    that is changing the world?
  • 9:05 - 9:08
Do you want to be part
    of the Kingdom's work,
  • 9:08 - 9:12
the Kingdom of God that is changing
    the world?
  • 9:13 - 9:14
    What do you want?
  • 9:14 - 9:16
Do you want to obey this?
  • 9:16 - 9:19
Do you want to experience this life
    we have been talking about?
  • 9:19 - 9:23
If you want it, then it's your decision
and then you need to say "yes"
  • 9:23 - 9:26
to the call Jesus has given,
    like everyone else.
  • 9:26 - 9:28
    You need to say "yes".
  • 9:28 - 9:31
And you need to pay a price for it,
    like everyone else.
  • 9:31 - 9:34
And I want to guarantee you,
    as pastors and leaders,
  • 9:34 - 9:38
that this is not going to be easy,
but it's going to be amazing
  • 9:38 - 9:41
and there is going to be
    a lot of fruit.
  • 9:42 - 9:45
I really encourage you to follow
    the call of Jesus. Why?
  • 9:45 - 9:48
    Because it's fruitful
    and there is freedom.
  • 9:49 - 9:51
I want you to do it for your sake
  • 9:51 - 9:54
and I want you to do it
    for the people around you,
  • 9:54 - 9:55
    and for the harvest.
  • 9:55 - 10:02
Our focus is Christ and do His will,
and then He will do the rest.
  • 10:04 - 10:08
We read in the Book of Acts 2:47:
  • 10:08 - 10:13
"And the Lord added to their numbers
daily those who were being saved."
  • 10:13 - 10:18
The Lord added to them daily
    those who were being saved.
  • 10:18 - 10:22
Our focus is to do what Christ
    has called us to do,
  • 10:22 - 10:26
    and then we see that
He will add people who will get saved.
  • 10:26 - 10:30
    God is doing it.
    Jesus is building His church.
  • 10:30 - 10:33
I don't know where you are right now,
  • 10:33 - 10:35
as a pastor, or as a leader.
  • 10:35 - 10:40
I don't know what church denomination
    you are part of.
  • 10:40 - 10:46
I don't know if you are a part of something
where it is the new wine and the new wineskin,
  • 10:46 - 10:50
or you are more part of the, kind of,
    old wineskin,
  • 10:50 - 10:54
if you are in a very, very traditional church.
  • 10:55 - 11:00
Short time ago, I had a meeting in Florida
and I met a pastor there.
  • 11:00 - 11:04
He was a pastor of a big, big church,
and he loved what he saw in our meetings.
  • 11:04 - 11:09
He loved the fruit, and he left with it,
and went home to the church,
  • 11:09 - 11:12
and he started to see fruit.
He started to see many baptized,
  • 11:12 - 11:14
set free, receive the Holy Spirit.
    He started to see things
  • 11:14 - 11:17
he has never ever seen before.
  • 11:17 - 11:23
But, he also recognized that the system
    he was in that church,
  • 11:23 - 11:27
    among the other pastors and
    leaders in that church network,
  • 11:27 - 11:31
that they were not ready to change.
    They did not want it.
  • 11:32 - 11:35
And that pastor, actually, ended up
    leaving the church.
  • 11:35 - 11:38
Why? Because he has tasted it
    and he wanted it.
  • 11:38 - 11:41
He saw good fruit and he wants
    more of that.
  • 11:43 - 11:45
Maybe you are like this pastor.
  • 11:45 - 11:48
Maybe you are in a place where
    you have been so stuck,
  • 11:48 - 11:50
    and you have been longing
    for this,
  • 11:50 - 11:53
and you tried to put this new wine
    in the old wineskin,
  • 11:53 - 11:56
but maybe you are there where
    it's time to move on.
  • 11:57 - 11:59
    You cannot change it anymore.
  • 11:59 - 12:03
Or, let's put it in another way,
    or, come with another example.
  • 12:03 - 12:05
In Florida I met another pastor.
  • 12:05 - 12:09
He had a church and he gathered
50 of his members in the church.
  • 12:09 - 12:12
And he asked me to come
    and do some training.
  • 12:12 - 12:15
And I was doing training of
how to heal the sick, cast out demons,
  • 12:15 - 12:17
be led by the Holy Spirit,
    find the person of peace,
  • 12:17 - 12:21
    preach the gospel,
    make disciples.
  • 12:21 - 12:25
And we came there just three Tuesdays
and we were working with the church.
  • 12:26 - 12:27
    And it was amazing.
  • 12:27 - 12:30
We set up a WhatsApp group there,
    in the church,
  • 12:30 - 12:33
and testimonies started to come in,
    testimonies started to come in,
  • 12:33 - 12:36
    testimonies started to come in.
  • 12:36 - 12:38
    What was the result?
  • 12:38 - 12:41
30 new people got added to the church
    in a month.
  • 12:41 - 12:43
    That was beautiful.
  • 12:43 - 12:45
    New people were added.
  • 12:45 - 12:48
There were also seven of the old
    who left,
  • 12:48 - 12:50
because they did not like it.
  • 12:50 - 12:53
This is how it always is.
  • 12:54 - 12:56
One pastor needed to leave the church.
  • 12:56 - 13:01
Another pastor saw 30 new people
    added in one month.
  • 13:02 - 13:03
I don't know where you are,
  • 13:03 - 13:07
    I don't know what background
    you are in,
  • 13:07 - 13:10
but I know that this is the truth.
  • 13:10 - 13:12
And if this is the truth,
    what Jesus is saying,
  • 13:12 - 13:18
we have a responsibility, no matter
how people around us will receive it.
  • 13:19 - 13:22
    So, where should you start?
    I don't know.
  • 13:22 - 13:26
Some of you have a long, long way to go.
  • 13:26 - 13:31
Maybe you are in a church denomination
where they do not believe in gifts,
  • 13:31 - 13:34
    that gifts are for today,
with the baptism with the Holy Spirit,
  • 13:34 - 13:36
speaking in tongues, healing the sick,
    casting out demons.
  • 13:36 - 13:41
    If you are there,
you have a long, long way to go.
  • 13:41 - 13:46
But I encourage you - go there.
Why? Because it is the truth.
  • 13:46 - 13:48
I want to say something here.
  • 13:48 - 13:51
When I met God, many years ago,
  • 13:51 - 13:53
my father looked at me and said:
  • 13:53 - 13:55
Torben, I will not have you to go
    into church!
  • 13:56 - 14:01
I don't want you to have anything
to do with Jesus and the Bible.
  • 14:01 - 14:03
    I looked at my father,
    and I loved him,
  • 14:03 - 14:07
    and because I loved him
I did not do what he told me.
  • 14:07 - 14:08
But he did not agree with that.
  • 14:08 - 14:12
    He thought I was rebellious
and he was angry, for six years,
  • 14:12 - 14:16
until I led him to Christ,
baptized him in water and Holy Spirit.
  • 14:16 - 14:18
Now he's dead, home with God.
  • 14:18 - 14:22
And I'm thankful that I did not
    compromise,
  • 14:22 - 14:25
even he was angry for six years.
  • 14:25 - 14:31
It was easy somehow. It was hard,
but it was still easy to know what to do
  • 14:31 - 14:35
when my father said: Torben, I will not
have you to do anything with God.
  • 14:35 - 14:40
Why? Because, father, if I don't get Jesus,
who can give it to you?
  • 14:41 - 14:45
And I want to say the same to you.
If you are in a church denomination
  • 14:45 - 14:49
and they don't believe in gifts...
  • 14:51 - 14:54
it's somehow easy what to do.
  • 14:54 - 14:58
    What should you do?
You should just do what is right.
  • 14:58 - 15:05
You should do what the Bible says,
no matter if they're going to receive it,
  • 15:05 - 15:07
or if they're going to reject it.
  • 15:07 - 15:11
    No matter if there'll be
    riots and problems.
  • 15:11 - 15:15
You should do what is right
because it's the right thing to do.
  • 15:15 - 15:17
    Because it's the truth.
  • 15:18 - 15:22
    If you go this way,
some people will hate you for it,
  • 15:22 - 15:25
    but I guarantee you,
many more people will love you for it.
  • 15:25 - 15:29
We, as leaders, especially as leaders,
    but everyone of us,
  • 15:29 - 15:31
    we cannot please everyone.
  • 15:31 - 15:33
    Let's just please God instead.
  • 15:33 - 15:37
    Let's do what it's right
because it's the right thing to do,
  • 15:37 - 15:38
    because it's the truth.
  • 15:38 - 15:41
    And then, every other question:
    Yeah, but what about this,
  • 15:41 - 15:44
what about this, what about that,
    what about this,
  • 15:44 - 15:46
    they will come later.
    We start with the truth.
  • 15:47 - 15:49
Maybe you are a pastor or a leader
    in a more modern church,
  • 15:49 - 15:51
    who believes in gifts,
  • 15:52 - 15:55
    but where they don't speak
about the sin at all and
  • 15:56 - 15:58
    baptism is just a symbol.
  • 15:58 - 16:00
I will say the same to you:
  • 16:00 - 16:04
    Do what is right because
it's the right thing to do.
  • 16:04 - 16:09
And no matter where you are,
I will say: Always start with the gospel.
  • 16:09 - 16:14
Because what you will see when you
    really understand the gospel
  • 16:14 - 16:16
and start to share the gospel,
  • 16:16 - 16:19
you will be surprised how many people
    are in the churches,
  • 16:19 - 16:21
who are not fully born again.
  • 16:21 - 16:25
    You think they are struggling
because they don't have the heart
  • 16:25 - 16:29
to read the Bible, they don't have the longing
    for fellowship with other believers,
  • 16:29 - 16:33
they don't have any desire to tell
    other people about Jesus.
  • 16:33 - 16:37
And you'll think: Oh, we just need
to disciple them a little more,
  • 16:37 - 16:39
    and some people, yes, need
    to be discipled,
  • 16:39 - 16:43
    but many other people, actually,
just need to be born again.
  • 16:43 - 16:45
Because if they fully, fully see
    their sin and
  • 16:45 - 16:50
    fully recognize they were lost,
repent and get fully born again,
  • 16:50 - 16:55
come on, the longing for fellowship
    with other believers,
  • 16:55 - 16:59
the desire to live a holy life,
the desire to tell people about God,
  • 16:59 - 17:02
all of this will come naturally.
  • 17:02 - 17:04
So, I would say, no matter where
    you are,
  • 17:04 - 17:07
never ever compromise with the gospel.
  • 17:07 - 17:10
Take the time to share the gospel.
  • 17:11 - 17:16
Then I encourage you who are in a church,
if you can, start with the few.
  • 17:16 - 17:20
It's not always easy... It depends on how
big the church is, of course,
  • 17:20 - 17:25
but it's very difficult to have a big church
and then just move it around like this.
  • 17:25 - 17:30
Find the few. There is always 10, 15%
of the church, who want more,
  • 17:30 - 17:33
who are longing. Find those people.
    Start with them.
  • 17:33 - 17:35
    Let them read the book.
  • 17:35 - 17:37
Go through the teaching with them.
  • 17:37 - 17:40
Let them understand what this call is about
  • 17:40 - 17:44
and then let them live it out,
    start to see testimonies,
  • 17:44 - 17:48
going out, finding the person of peace,
    leading people to Christ.
  • 17:48 - 17:51
Start with those few who want it.
  • 17:51 - 17:55
And then let those few come into church
    in a bigger gathering
  • 17:55 - 17:57
    and share the testimonies.
  • 17:57 - 18:02
And what you will see is that when
    the "normal" church goers,
  • 18:02 - 18:05
who are sitting in church for 10, 15 years,
    without really bearing fruit,
  • 18:05 - 18:08
suddenly start to bear lot of fruit
  • 18:08 - 18:10
and start to testify about Jesus
    and the change,
  • 18:10 - 18:13
and then you use them to come
    on the platform
  • 18:13 - 18:15
    and share their testimonies.
  • 18:15 - 18:17
Then it starts to go fast.
  • 18:17 - 18:20
Because then people will not think:
    Yeah, you are the pastor.
  • 18:20 - 18:22
It's easy for you to talk about.
  • 18:22 - 18:27
But when they see their friends
in the church start to live it out,
  • 18:27 - 18:31
they start to be jealous, some of them.
    And more people want it.
  • 18:31 - 18:33
    And more people want it.
    And more people want it.
  • 18:33 - 18:36
And suddenly you change the whole
    atmosphere in the church.
  • 18:37 - 18:39
But I'm sad to say that you will
    very often end up
  • 18:39 - 18:42
    with a group of people
    who don't want it,
  • 18:42 - 18:44
    because that was not what
    they signed up for.
  • 18:44 - 18:46
They are in church for many reasons
  • 18:46 - 18:49
and one of them is not to follow Christ,
  • 18:49 - 18:51
    to give up everything.
  • 18:51 - 18:54
So you need to count the cost.
  • 18:55 - 18:58
And maybe some people will leave church.
  • 18:58 - 19:01
    Or something else.
  • 19:01 - 19:03
I don't know, but I know one thing.
  • 19:03 - 19:07
I know if you do what is right,
    you will feel you're alive,
  • 19:07 - 19:11
you will be part of not only starting
a small church or a big church.
  • 19:11 - 19:14
You will be a part of the Kingdom of God.
  • 19:14 - 19:16
So I want to really challenge you
    out there.
  • 19:16 - 19:17
    Don't be afraid.
  • 19:18 - 19:19
    Don't be afraid.
  • 19:19 - 19:22
    Do what is right
because it's the right thing to do.
  • 19:22 - 19:26
You have heard, you have seen,
and now you have a responsibility.
  • 19:27 - 19:32
    Paul in Acts 20:26 said:
"Therefore, I declare to you today
  • 19:32 - 19:37
    that I am innocent
of the blood of any of you."
  • 19:37 - 19:41
    Why did Paul say that?
Why did Paul said to the people:
  • 19:41 - 19:48
"I declare to you today that
I am innocent of the blood of any of you."
  • 19:48 - 19:53
Paul said it because he knew, as a leader,
    that he had a responsibility
  • 19:54 - 19:58
    for those people
    God has entrusted him with.
  • 19:58 - 20:02
Paul said he was innocent because
  • 20:02 - 20:04
he has preached the whole truth
    of God
  • 20:04 - 20:08
and he did not hold anything back.
  • 20:08 - 20:12
And we can see that in the next verse,
because the next verse says this:
  • 20:12 - 20:20
"For I have not hesitated to proclaim
to you the whole will of God."
  • 20:20 - 20:25
    If you are hesitating
    in telling the whole truth,
  • 20:25 - 20:28
    because you are afraid
    what people will say,
  • 20:30 - 20:35
then you cannot say like Paul:
I am innocent, when it comes to their blood.
  • 20:35 - 20:37
No, their blood will be on our hands.
  • 20:37 - 20:41
The Bible is very clear that we have
    a responsibility.
  • 20:41 - 20:45
When you know what the truth is,
and you don't do it, you are sinning.
  • 20:45 - 20:48
    So, the question is:
    Is this the truth?
  • 20:48 - 20:51
Check it up. It's not my words.
It's not about the book here.
  • 20:51 - 20:56
It's about Jesus' words, Luke 10,
    and everything Jesus is saying.
  • 20:56 - 21:00
    If this is the truth,
    it's the truth for you.
  • 21:00 - 21:05
If it's the truth for you, it's also
the truth for those people around you.
  • 21:05 - 21:09
And if you really love those people
    around you,
  • 21:09 - 21:12
then you do what is right
    and give them the truth,
  • 21:12 - 21:16
    and give them the opportunity
    to follow the truth.
  • 21:16 - 21:21
If you need help in this, then let us know.
We are here to help you.
  • 21:21 - 21:23
    We have so many resources.
  • 21:23 - 21:28
We have our free movies on TLRmovie.com.
Three free movies that can bless you
  • 21:28 - 21:31
and your church. And it's not about TLR.
  • 21:31 - 21:34
    Please, it's not about TLR.
    It's about the Kingdom.
  • 21:34 - 21:37
    We also have schools.
    You are welcome to join.
  • 21:37 - 21:40
We have different pastors and leaders
    on our school.
  • 21:40 - 21:44
I've actually given out a teaching,
    just now,
  • 21:44 - 21:48
with a pastor who was interviewing me,
    who was in our school,
  • 21:48 - 21:53
and who got so much, much
blessing out of being in our school.
  • 21:53 - 21:56
We are here to help you.
    It'a all about the Kingdom.
  • 21:56 - 22:01
I want to say here: We are all working
on the same thing - the Kingdom of God.
  • 22:01 - 22:05
Let's work together. Let us help you
if there are areas you want us to help.
  • 22:05 - 22:10
We can send people who can help you,
not to build TLR where you are,
  • 22:10 - 22:14
but to help you to obey the call
    Jesus has given you.
  • 22:14 - 22:18
If you want to have books,
    to give out to everyone,
  • 22:18 - 22:22
send an e-mail to us and we can give you
    a very, very good deal.
  • 22:22 - 22:24
And of course, everyone is welcome
    to send an e-mail
  • 22:24 - 22:26
and you can get the e-book for free.
  • 22:26 - 22:30
We just want this word to be spread.
  • 22:30 - 22:32
We want the Kingdom of God to grow.
  • 22:32 - 22:37
And if you are growing, and we have been
a part of blessing that helped you to grow,
  • 22:37 - 22:39
    we are excited.
  • 22:39 - 22:43
And we are not there to control
and put everything under our ministry, and so on.
  • 22:43 - 22:45
    It's really about the Kingdom.
  • 22:45 - 22:48
But we want to say: Let's help you.
  • 22:48 - 22:50
    Let's stand together.
  • 22:50 - 22:54
    Let's take this call Jesus
    has given us,
  • 22:54 - 23:00
and you, as leaders, start to equip
the people in your church to obey this call.
  • 23:00 - 23:04
You will see so much more fruit
in your life out of it.
  • 23:04 - 23:06
They will see so much more fruit
    in their life.
  • 23:06 - 23:09
The church will see so much more fruit,
  • 23:09 - 23:13
and we are all doing the will of God
and the call Jesus has given us.
  • 23:13 - 23:18
God bless you and please, contact us
    through our website thelastreformation.com,
  • 23:18 - 23:21
if there is anything we can help you with.
  • 23:21 - 23:23
You are welcome to come and meet us
    when we are out there.
  • 23:23 - 23:24
    Bye-bye!
  • 23:27 - 23:28
