Dominican Republic Travelers, it's an absolute necessity to carry a Dominican Republic Travelers Health Affidavit for every step of travel beyond the island. In accordance with the International Health Care Services Act(IHCSA) all of healthcare insurance will be immediately declared on entry to the country. But this doesn't apply to Dominican Republic Travelers who's entering via the points of entry such as Punta Cana or San Juan. Where you're entering the Dominican Republic, you will need to have the proper IHCSA documentation hand to be medicated by the correct healthcare providers. Failure to do this could lead to significant fines and charges against you.
