ALL Travelers Face This Scam Today

hello and welcome to prague czech

republic actually maybe not yet you're

probably sitting in front of your

computer watching this youtube video

getting prepared and while doing that

you may come across something called

passenger locator form because you need

to fill that up before you travel to our

beautiful country that has so much to

offer and believe it or not while doing

that you may come across some scams

and we're here to help so you will avoid

those

passenger locator form is something you

need to fill in before traveling to

czech republic and usually when looking

for things like those you simply open up

a google page and put in passenger

locator form czech republic and this is

what will pop up this lovely looking

website will ask you to enter the form

and fill in some basic information your

name your arrival date your passport

number where are you gonna stay and so

on doesn't take too long couple minutes

and you'll be done right away at the end

you'll click submit and the website will

ask you for your credit card number

because it will want you to pay 79 euros

filling up your credit card information

number would be a big big mistake

here's the thing the travel locator form

that you have to fill in before

traveling to czech republic is

completely free and you don't have to

pay for it it costs zero nada zero

dollars zero euros zero yens zero check

rounds zero was that clear enough about

that that it's for free

it's free

so why does this website exist

well remember when you clicked the link

when you were googling it was actually

an ad a paid ad so what this website

does is it uses keywords that you may be

searching for and puts their link before

the official government link and by

doing that they trick you to thinking

that you're filling up something

official nothing official about that

this company is actually based in

barcelona spain

and they not only play this trick on

people traveling to czech republic they

have other websites when you travel to

mexico to turkey to kenya and they got

it somehow mixed up that for example if

on the check website you click that you

want to refund you'll be asked to write

to an email info at kenya travelform.org

you guys need to sort out your scams if

you're scamming people in czech republic

don't have them right to kenya that you

know

but hey nobody's gonna refund your money

i mean you gave them your credit card

number they took away 79 euros there's

no reason for a refund they will most

likely send you the travel passenger

locator for me this website simply aims

at travelers that are either unprepared

or are in a hurry we experienced it with

hamza we were boarding a plane to spain

and the flight attendant said do you

have the locator form for spain and he

said no the first thing we did is we

googled passenger locator form spain and

clicked the first link we might have

fallen into the same trap i mean we

probably wouldn't pay 79 euros just to

be clear but hey some people may do it

especially if you're under the stress

your plane is leaving you're going on a

vacation that's why we're doing this

video and these guys are not the only

ones who will try to scam you

there is even a more legit looking

website that is called

ibiza.com

same thing you go through a process of

filling up your information and at the

end you'll be asked for your credit card

in this case you'll pay only 54 euros if

you want it in a rush that means in four

hours so i'm gonna open the ivisa.com

website and see how long it's gonna take

me to fill out their form

it took two minutes and 48 seconds to

fill out the form on ivisa.com

without doing the payment which would

probably take another minute or so now

let's try to do the same exact thing on

the official government website of the

czech republic

one minute and 50 seconds because i

actually made a mistake in my name and

the official forum told me that's a not

existing person ding ding ding ding so

this was a minute faster and in case of

this website 54 euros cheaper

but it's strange because if i open this

website i visa and i look at their

reviews they claim to have happy and

satisfied customers like uh alan here

and pritam and elizabeth well actually

google searched these images and

you know

alan is actually daniel bashir here's a

picture with him and the pope

is actually a shutterstock image of an

asian man on a train and elizabeth got

famous for taking a selfie with no

makeup

i don't think these are your real

customers

hey you know a lot of companies are

using fake reviews for their product to

get attention and that's also sometimes

why they reach out to youtubers so they

would mention them for partnership and

guess what i visa actually reached out

to us a couple months ago and they said

if we can mention their website on our

video

which is what we're doing right now not

sure if they'll be happy about it

now let's be fair and clear i'm pretty

sure that unlike the previous website we

show you i visa may actually help you

with getting visas to some other

countries where you can struggle with

you know communicating with the embassy

but that's not the case of the passenger

locator form to czech republic it's

simply very dishonest and very rude that

you charge people 54 euros for filling

up the basic information that is for

free

hey and i'm not saying it's a scam it's

our government who claims filling in the

arrival form is free of charge if the

form asks you to pay do not pay under

any circumstances

it is a scam

that's what our government says

i didn't say it

and now of course you're asking so what

is the official website where i can fill

out the form for free and it only takes

a minute and 50 seconds it is

if you google it you will find it it

sometimes may not be the very first link

but it's there fill out the fort there

and it's free

now we may believe we actually found the

guy who runs the first website we

mentioned we found his linkedin and

according to that he actually works with

google adwords which is the service that

gets your website your link to the first

position on the google search results we

tried calling him but there was no

answer

that are aiming at people who want to
