This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. 'Glasgow Flourishes' is a celebration of the culture of Glasgow in all of its joys and contradictions. While commentators talk about our success as the 'Glasgow miracle', this poem looks elsewhere -- to the streets, the people, the energy and the stories that make our cultural life so thrilling and vital.
