RMC3 Wah Wah Pedal REVIEW DEMO (GG-301) How to play

  • 0:10 - 0:11
    Hi!
  • 0:11 - 0:12
    How you doing, Justin here!
  • 0:12 - 0:13
    In this little video today,
  • 0:13 - 0:15
    I'm going to be doing
    a bit of a demo
  • 0:15 - 0:18
on this very very fine Wah Wah pedal
  • 0:18 - 0:24
This is a RMC3, which is made by
    the Real McCoy Custom.
  • 0:25 - 0:26
    Amps and effects
  • 0:27 - 0:31
This is kinda the Holy Grail for modern
    effects pedals.
  • 0:31 - 0:34
    Lots of great guitar players
    use this pedal.
  • 0:35 - 0:37
    It really sounds pretty
    fantastic.
  • 0:38 - 0:41
It's also one of the most versatile
Wah Wah pedals you can get.
  • 0:41 - 0:43
    Inside the back, when you
    take the back off,
  • 0:43 - 0:46
    there are little switches that
    you can move to check
  • 0:46 - 0:49
to kinda sculpt the sound of the wire
that you are going to get
  • 0:49 - 0:50
    from this pedal.
  • 0:50 - 0:53
Its really cool! What I'm going to do
    now is
  • 0:53 - 0:55
I'm just going to do a little close-up
    on the floor
  • 0:55 - 0:58
and just show you any of the little
    features of it
  • 0:58 - 1:00
and then after that I'm just going to be
    noodling
  • 1:00 - 1:04
The video of me playing with this pedal
    was taken in one go
  • 1:04 - 1:07
    and it's basically me just
    kinda playing about
  • 1:07 - 1:10
with a little bit on the clean sound,
little bit on the dirty sound
  • 1:10 - 1:13
I did those videos predominately really
    for myself.
  • 1:13 - 1:16
    I was just experimenting
with a whole bunch of different Wahs
  • 1:16 - 1:17
    that I borrowed of people
  • 1:17 - 1:20
This one comes from my friend Dario,
    so thanks Dario
  • 1:20 - 1:23
for lending me this cool pedal to try
    out
  • 1:23 - 1:25
so let's have a closer look at it!
  • 1:26 - 1:30
Okay, here we are for a quick close up
of the RMC3 Wah Wah pedal.
  • 1:31 - 1:34
Pretty standard, really. We've got an
    input jack over here!
  • 1:35 - 1:39
and we've got a nine vault power adapter
    here,
  • 1:39 - 1:42
which is a really really useful
feature on a Wah Wah pedal.
  • 1:43 - 1:44
We got the output on this side.
  • 1:44 - 1:47
    Nothing else much exciting
    going on with this pedal.
  • 1:48 - 1:53
As usual, to get access to the battery,
if you're going to put a battery in it,
  • 1:54 - 1:58
the back has to come off. You just
    have to undo three,
  • 1:58 - 2:00
and you can see a little bit of
    a look inside
  • 2:00 - 2:01
    full of interesting stuff!
  • 2:01 - 2:04
Now the big deal with this particular
    pedal
  • 2:04 - 2:05
    is this little section here.
  • 2:05 - 2:08
There is a little strip here
    with nine little switches,
  • 2:08 - 2:11
    and by altering those switches,
    you can drastically affect
  • 2:11 - 2:13
    the difference in the sound.
  • 2:13 - 2:16
Now I haven't played with it.
For the settings that u want to know:
  • 2:16 - 2:20
    3, 4, 5, and 6 switches are up
and all the rest are down,
  • 2:21 - 2:24
but I haven't played around with it
because my friend lent it to me
  • 2:24 - 2:28
and I've just haven't got no time,
so I'm just going to leave it as it is.
  • 2:28 - 2:32
So this is your Real McCoy Custom!
  • 2:32 - 2:35
I'll play the clean sound first,
so you can hear the sound.
  • 2:36 - 2:44
    plays sound
  • 2:45 - 2:47
    Okay, engaging wire.
  • 2:48 - 2:50
Okay one of the first things
    I always do is
  • 2:50 - 2:53
    just try and test out
the whole range of the wire
  • 2:53 - 2:54
    and see what sort of
  • 2:54 - 2:56
what it's got from right far back.
  • 2:56 - 3:08
    plays sound
  • 3:09 - 3:12
    And that's really good!
That's a lot of variation there!
  • 3:12 - 3:13
    plays sound
  • 4:54 - 4:56
    Here's the sound with distortion!
  • 5:01 - 5:03
    Okay, engaging wire.
  • 5:04 - 5:06
There are a lot more skids
    going on.
  • 8:32 - 8:36
I'm back, and I hope you enjoyed
    the review,
  • 8:36 - 8:38
    my little noodling and playing
    about
  • 8:38 - 8:42
with this RMC3 Real McCoy Custom
    Wah Wah Pedal.
  • 8:43 - 8:44
    Most excellent pedal!
  • 8:45 - 8:47
