I'm going to give you a combo today,
    which I think is brilliant.

If you look at this, this is turmeric.
  • 0:31 - 0:33
It's world worth having a look for this.
  • 0:33 - 0:36
    Unbelievable, brilliant to use
    in your cooking, of course.
  • 0:36 - 0:39
We normally get it like this,
    as a dry product.
  • 0:39 - 0:43
Either way, this is absolutely packed
    to the rafters with iron,
  • 0:43 - 0:44

    because we want to have

    and it's really, really good
    for our general health.
  • 0:50 - 0:53
Now, we can absorb more iron
    in the presence of --

    Citrus!
  • 0:54 - 0:57
So, whether is orange or lemon,

    Get this into a jar.
  • 1:09 - 1:11
Now, what I love to do is
  • 1:11 - 1:14
    I make little teas
    in an airtight jar, right?
  • 1:14 - 1:16
I use that as my tea pot.
  • 1:16 - 1:18
    Obviously, make sure
    it's a nice Kilner jar,
  • 1:18 - 1:19
    something that is heatproof.
  • 1:19 - 1:20
And then, whatever is left over,
  • 1:20 - 1:23
    goes into the fridge
    and then you chill it,
  • 1:23 - 1:28
and you get a totally different
sort of flavor spectrum when you keep it.
  • 1:28 - 1:31
I love doing it with things like
    lemon, orange --
  • 1:31 - 1:33
If you got a speed peeler,
  • 1:34 - 1:38
those essential oils come out of zest...
just a couple of bits of zest,
  • 1:38 - 1:43
    literally 3 bits like that
are going to transform your tea.
  • 1:43 - 1:46
    So, there's a little slice
and a few bits of that.

We've got vitamin C in the orange.

But in the thyme, you've got calcium,
    can you believe it?
  • 2:26 - 2:30
    We always associate sort of
