As a linguist, I am interested in language typology, Sociolinguistics, and ESL/EFL. I did some research related to the aforementioned topics, such as on Tense, Aspect, and Mood (TAM) markers in Malang Javanese, on Thematic Progression Patterns in Opinion section texts of The Jakarta Post, and on code-mixing in religious discourse in Java. Furthermore, my ranging experiences from an academic background as an English teacher and researcher to a linguistic evaluator have led me not only to have a wider perspective on the said topics but also to be more quality driven and to have a keen eye for details. Moreover, I also develop my communication skill and became a better team worker through these experiences, especially during my work as a teacher.
